Morti was a sort of fragment of Morganna or something (it's never explained what her deal is, but her obscene power makes me think she's a Morganna piece) that decided that she wanted to learn about, and transcend death. And so, because no one in the Udeden anime has any ounce of logic, she decided that to learn about death she was gonna kill everyone instead of visiting Wikipedia or something.

So she contacts some l33t haxx0r kidz from za hoodz and teaches them how to be even l33ter, and helps them make Data Bugs to comatose people and trap them in some dungeon on an evil server they took over. Rena starts Tsukasa-ing around for no helpful reason, and then Morti decides to infect Rena with a virus that will spread to everyone on her Member Address list.

So after Shugo saves Rena and the others and stuff, he tries to kill Morti. One of the l33t haxx0r kids jumps in the way (Morti killed the others for no reason whatsoever spared the one girl because Morti is sexist and believes in Grrl Power.) and then Morti jumps in the way of the kid jumping in the way and dies from Data Drain.

It turns out that Morti set it up so that when she died, all the Chaos Gates would start releasing viral data until all the servers crashed and everyone playing Za Warudo DIED.

Then Shugo and Rena explode for some reason and everything is fine forever. We never figure out what happened to Aura when Morti kicks her ass, but who cares? The End.

Now that you explained it, I just realized the Udeden anime is stupider than I thought it was.

You mean why sometimes people (mainly Ovan or anyone around Ovan) talk really fast and sometimes pause awkwardly in the middle of sentences? I think they're trying to keep the voices and mouths in sync so that it doesn't liike like a Godzilla movie; also it affects people around Ovan because his character data is greater than that of a field, and so everyone suffers from super lag.
