i feel that ovan will die, i also don't think he'll come back, thoughwhat i know is what i read around the bored, and from that i make opinions. if has done all that i think he'll be punished, not divinely, but like his come up'ns. and that endrance thing, if we met in real life, it would be awkward...

you just reminded me. what was the deal with Phyllo and Ovan's conversation in roots. Phyllo said 'he knows' and 'will take his secret to the grave'. then Ovan says 'i have the same problem as you'. that sort of implies Ovan is sick or dying like Phyllo. another thing when Ovan confronted Naobi way back when.... he said his quest for the key of the twilight was 'personal'. could there be something behind this?

Ovan is a good guy but hes the type of good guy who is absolutely forced into playing a bad guy. then again, like xenosaga, there is no good or evil in dot hack...`

there really isn't when someone does something he thinks it is right. but still, how selfish is ovan to put people into comas to solve your problem, kinda evil, in a selfish "me" way.

It seems that everyone
has a goal in mind. But the thing
that gets me, is that since Ovan
found some part of the twilight.
It seems that he is causing more of
the destruction in the World.

i highly think it's aura because look at the azure knights, they looked all messed up so it's highly possible that she too got messed up (lookwise)

and maybe she's like harald staying out of the program but still existing and so she's just sitting in the chair (pretty much how harald was just floating upside down (in a chair i think?) )

it's because the AK are from currupted(or however u say it) data. however aura is a debugger and if she see that she is ugly she can change her look

i think cubia whont apear but some tipe of antiexistance like him him will, but the antiexistence maybe the Aidas

Yes indeedy! Anyways there are so much that the creators can do. For example Ovan could live through this because of Haseo or something. Or somehow watch Shino sacrifice her life to save his somehow or something I dunno. There are just a lot of possibilities that could happen that's one of the reasons why I love .hack so much you can speculate a lot. But I really don't think anyone else will die or at least because of the game. I was shocked that Pyllo died but that wasn't game related. Also I think we've not seen the last of Kite and co. since he could possibly regenerate. And about Aura I think that's just a failed version, Zefie older version, or somehow the real Aura that was lost in the World. I'll go with the real Aura for now since I've no better theory. Anyways too tired to talk more lol.

Or it could be a new Aura that's developing due to the actions of the Epitaph Weilders.

It would be truly weird that she introduced Ovan to Phyllo though... Being all unawakened and stuff... Even if she was like, Lycoris level, she probably wouldn't interact as smoothly as necessary...

True, but I'm sure the Epitaph's don't have to be awakened, per se. Maybe just being part of a PC is good enough to help Aura 2.0 learn.

There's no difference between being an unawakened one as a part of a PC, and just floating around disembodied, and supposedly they can't do much like that... Remember, the R.A. Program involved all of the Users exectuing it, not just standing around and drinking coffee...

I guess that's true. Ah well, I'm sure it's something. She's probably not going to be the next Aura, but the idea's fun to play with.

Im guessing that you fight Corbenik more than once.

Like one for each form, just not all at once like in Quarantine.

I believe so..but Ovan, whom I still believe is the rebirth, you will only fight once..but who knows. Vol. 3 isn't coming out quite yet.

Forget the 3 different forms of Corbenik. That was simply to emphasize that it was the final battle out of a four game set. Corbenik is The Rebirth; that is that. if Corbenik was easy in volume 2, since Ovan is still around plays a key role in the series i would almost come to expect to fight him again. if not, thats fine.
