I Hate the games that you have to beat like 100 completely annoying monsters with the worst weapon you got to have the evolution you want in your demon *Points at Castlevania Curse of Darkness*

Ever heard of Masamune (I think this was the name; it's that red katana) in Castlevania:SotN?
It's one of the worst weapons in the game, but if you let it "drink" enough blood from enemies (the Mermans at the beginning are great for this) it can get even stronger than Crissaegrin. The problem is that it takes longer to do that than to Lv all familiars to max Lv (which means a LOT of time) >.>

Holy Sh*t!, well, at least it can be even more stronger, but can't you just stay in an area and make it drink enough blood from its enemies before going to another level?

Yes, you can do that (that's what I meant when I said about the Merman). The problem is that it takes way too long. As I said, it's quicker to grind all familiars to max Lv before you get it to a descent attack power (IIRC, a familiar gets 1EXP for killing an enemy and it needs 100EXP to Lv up each time).
If you get it strong enough, everything gets easy as pie, though. I saw a vid of someone killing the last boss in 2 sec with that sword '-'

It was a funny video, though.

Getting again In-Topic: I hate when you have to kill a super extremely powerfull boss..... ONLY WITH JUMPING, and from 5 hits you do 4 are miss and/or he hits you, and they don't give you any recharge for your life bar and when you defeat it they give you a New crappy form: a Hawk!!!!!!!! *Points to Altered Beasts for PS2*

Yeah! Hidora is right! I know this game and it's very famous!
But anyway...
The thing I must hate in the game, is you suffering during the entire game, and at the end of that, you see the protagonist enjoying the moment with your beloved! Meanwhile, you're just holding candle on seeing them happy, giving the impression that the merits are of the protagonist rather than the player! Ò_ó
Damm... I Jealous with this RPG's protagonists!!

I hate it when DLC is pricey, and isn't worth it. Many buy it anyway because without DLC online played starts to become limited.

Haseo. Badum.
I hate when they try to spice up their gameplay with some poorly done gameplay from different genre. Like the stealth part in Crisis Core. I picked up the game for mindless hack and slash violence, when I see a compound I rape it, I don't tip toe through it.

I hate when DLC is on the disk, and they charge you for it anyway.

I hate it when a company stops making games for a great franchise, and then some publisher like Sony that has the rights decides to have some mediocre company create another title that ruins the franchise...I refuse to look at any new Crash Bandicoot or Spyro stuff after how much I loved the original games.

I hate it when enemies you've killed piece themselves back together after you killed them.

these guys are the perfect example of that.

@Kaori: There's games where the last boss uses things that it gets out of nowhere, and revives himself/herself like 5/7 times, like Darkseid In justice League Heroes, or they just revive eachother,AND!!!, when you get how to kill them, they KILL ALL YOU PARTY AND STEAL ALL YO' FRIGGIN' ITEMSS!!!

The necron's are the most challenging foes in soulstorm why? Besides repairing themselves and reentering the battle as if nothing happened they can also teleport and can drive your infantry units morale to zero and make them flee for their lives, they can also become invisible and are armed with gauss rifles, the nastiest bit about them is that once they fully activate their monolith's you're in for a world of hurt, and they dont need requisition points to be made.

They're still little more than cannon fodder to the Tau. 'Nuff said.
@hidora- The scariest part is that when you fight Hitoshura, the 'regular enemy' theme from SMTN is the theme that's playing; Hitoshura sees your entire party as little more than a bunch of 'unimportant, regular enemies'.
