So let me get this question out the way.

Did Iori have two characters at once, like Yata/Nala? Or was it the power of Gorre that altered the PC everytime he switched with Saku.

...lolwut? Was this ever offered up as a canonical explanation? It makes no sense.
I got it from the dothack wiki: http://dothack.wikia.com/wiki/Sakubo

I know it sounds weird though.
literally merged with him.
I didn't really mean "literally"......I meant..."in a way".......or pretty much I'm saying in a different concept.

It doesn't say anything about that.

Again, it doesn't say anything about genetic merging. Iori just has MPD.

Read the Basic Info part, there is a link named Stillborn.

But the reason for Saku even existing is still because of how Bo couldn't protect himself, right?
Both are true. The creation of multiple personalities is a complex, multifaceted thing.
Did Iori have two characters at once, like Yata/Nala? Or was it the power of Gorre that altered the PC everytime he switched with Saku.
There's only one "Sakubo" PC. He probably changed it through an in-game menu, since players can apparently change the cosmetics of their PC model pretty easily without hacking. For example, when Shino changes the color of her clothing.
Read the Basic Info part, there is a link named Stillborn.
Because Sakura was born already dead in the womb. It's not a stillbirth if one fetus absorbs the other. Sakura died in utero, and their mother allegedly blamed Iori. Even if Sakura's fetus was absorbed into Iori's, it wouldn't give him multiple personalities. That's just stupid and makes no neurological sense.

Oops, that is when it happened. Nevermind that then.

Yata even says he's awakened iirc.
I don't remember that, I just recently beat Redemption for a 2nd time and I still don't re-call Yata saying that.
He said it in Rebirth after you meet him, I'm pretty sure. I think he even said it in the trailer...

Guess I'll have to replay Rebirth a 3rd time then. Damn I wish there was a way to get text dumps of all 3 games -_-

I don't recall Yata ever saying that he was "awakened". The only event regarding Yata's awakening that I remember was when he actually awakened, and that was in Volume 3 (it was expressly stated that he was the last Epitaph User to awaken).

Well, Kuukai's been incorrect about dialogue before, so it's entirely possible that we're right :P

Nothing there. You might be thinking of Kuhn. That or it may have happened further down the line. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6A5P63D ... re=related) Did you mean in a literal sense?

The order of awakening seems to be Ovan > Pi > Kuhn > Endrance > Haseo > Sakubo > Atoli > Yata.

"He" means Haseo, not Yata. Yata said Haseo was awakened.

Second to Pi. Nobody really knew Ovan was awakened, at least, i don't think so.

Erm? All I recall is that Yata said Haseo had started to awaken, not necessarily that he was "awakened" proper.

I stand by my previous point. There are most likely different levels of awakening, and only at a certain point can the User actually use their Avatar. It's the only thing that makes sense and ties in with the wording stated in the story.

And as for the order, it's highly likely that Ovan was awakened before Pi and Kuhn did - they were the first and second known EUs to awaken. For all we know, Endrance could've awakened before Pi did. It's never stated in the canon when he awakened either, as far as I know. *Could be wrong*

Which is why AT said "seems to be".We don't know for sure, and we never will know.

It should be noted, though, that when Ovan was infected by AIDA, Corbenik seemed to communicate with him and inform him of things like the Key of the Twilight, causing the formation of Ovan's plans. Endrance's fame and skills are also seemingly recent, as you'd imagine Haseo-wanting-blood-and-power would seek Endrance out otherwise, and he's not mentioned by Yata and Pi in passing during the ROOTS era, either. Plus his AIDA infection remains fairly benign, and whether or not this is a time-related issue, it's worth consideration. I see no canonical reason to doubt the order I presented in any way.
