Hmm actualy I think I will take you up on that...well I don't know if he does like me more than a friend because, 1. He is protective of me but not over protective 2. He seems slightly irritated when I talk with him about other guys liking me though he trys to hide it, but I know him to well. 3.Lately I have noticed him looking at me more, but then again I never paid that much attention. 5. He was wanting to know if I was taking art II next year because he is going to be an aid for either art I or Art II. He wants to be an aid for my class though. And then I am not sure if his actions are just normal or what because I don't really have any classes with him so we don't get to hang out a whole lot and I don't get to see how he treats his other female friends, but we hang out during lunch and sometimes he hangs in my english class and other times I am able to get out of my hated 8th period class to work on my art in the art room were he is at during 8th period along with some of his and mine other friends. (though we don't talk to much because we are usualy buisy with out art. We are both very seriouse about our art work.) He never says anything and doesn't really flirt, well scratch that he does a little. He is really a hard person to read I am usually good at telling what people are thinking and such, but I have a hard time reading him. Oh, and he gives me actual hugs not baby hugs like he does everyone else, but I don't know if thats because he likes me or if its because of us both having darkish sad pasts and the fact that his has him stressed lately and he knows mine is always bothering me, but I am not going into that. (wow I wrote alot! You could tell us why you think he "likes" you, in which case everyone who sees the post will argue over his true intentions and just leave you more confused than when you came here.

Here is where I prove that I have only been in one serious relationship in my life. It sounds like he might "like" you, but it might also be that he is being a sort of protective big brother. You did say that you two both had bad pasts and can relate, so he might feel the need to look out for you and protect you because he can understand the pain you've been through and doesn't want you to experience any more. It might be because he thinks of you as a close non-family member that he can connect to, or that might be an exact reason why he would "like" you. Thats exactly my issue I don't know if he thinks of me like a little sis or something more X/ Its all very confusing and he is really hard to read too. Because if we weren't confusing then life would be boring? lol. Yea it can suck sometimes...or a lot...but the parts that don't suck are fun cause it's confusing! Maybe instead of trying to worry so much about it you should wait and see if he makes any sort of moves on you.
