((Actually Miles was level 121, 2 levels less than Apple who is 123. Chaos was like... 80 wasnt he?))

The large hunk of metal came flying towards Miles. Before Miles could take another breath she screamed "Vak Don!" Parrying the blow with a barrage of Meteors she jumped to her feet and realized she was running low on HP. With her last bit of SP she cast a single Repth on herself and began backing away to get her footing.

"I only want to think of you as an enemy right now because, I dont fight my friends... So how about after we end this... we never fight again?" She said as she raised her eyes from the ground; her blade followed. Suddenly she appeared beside Chaos and pushed her blade sideways hitting his ribs. It cause damage but it seemed as if he didnt feel it. "Lets be friends after this."

Chaos HP: 550

((not counting the solo training he did a while back, but eh, who's really counting lol, not to mention the AIDA infestation has powered him up a little too))

"Fine by me. For now however, let's enjoy our battle." Chaos says as he plants his blade into the ground to help lift himself up to his feet. He turns around and smiles calmly, the mutation on his face falling off a little due to the weakening of the AIDA within him. He knew that his protect barrier wouldn't last much longer, so he lifted his blade over his head and quickly activated a skill trigger with the last of his sp. "Gate of Uroboros!" He said as he takes his blade and swings it in a circle, dealing a good amount of damage, considering the differences between their levels. However, the attack came at a price. After the spin, the blade sliced his own arm out of the carelessness of the attack, his weapon being one of the mino weapons, caused the mutation on his claw arm to start to weaken and fall off as well.

Chaos HP: 500

Her eyes held tightly shut as the attack hit her directly. A powerful pain ran up her spine as she grabbed her arm in real life. Lifting the HMD with her working hand, she whiped away the blood, with gritted teeth. Back in the game she groaned as she rose, still clutching her lower shoulder. "Seems your pretty strong... I guess I shouldve leveled a bit before this battle." Taking her blade to her skin tight shirt she cut off a piece of the cloth, wrapping it around her wound, showing even more skin than before. She reached down to clutch her blade with both hands, releasing not one sob. "Lets continue." She jumped forward and struck two fast blows before he could react and using a Healing Potion before he could strike back. 'I cant die now...' She thought.

Chaos HP: 400

"Well, there... goes my claw arm..." He says as he feels his stronger upper body strength fading, since it was tied into that arm. He grabs the blade by both hands and stands back up. "Ever regret your choice in job class? If I'd known I'd actually be heaving around this huge blade, I'd have probably been a twin blade instead..." He says sarcastically with a smile. "I can't perform that attack again, as it requires that AIDA claw arm. I have also lost the strength to wield this heavy thing with one hand. This might be over soon." He says as he runs over to her and swings the blade downward from above his head.

"I really wish that I picked Adept Rogue like Apple. I kinda dislike being confined to speed and speed alone." She says as she hits Chaos's old AIDA arm one last time before it fades. "At least your class can take advantage of the juggler glitch... and the sooner this ends the sooner I can get a bandaid," Miles poked her tougue out of her petit mouth. "That last attack hit me pretty hard."

AIDA Chaos's HP: 350

"Yeah, but it would be easier to perform when your not the one constantly swinging the blade upwards, and all your doing is pressing a button, ya know?" He says smiling as well. The AIDA mutations were fading faster by the moment. Soon enough, there'd be only one spot he'd still be infected at, the chest where Cain first attached himself to Chaos. "Thanks again Miles, for everything. Sorry if I hurt you too much with the gate of Uroborus. You were kinda owning me." he says with a faint chuckle.

Using the last of his mutated legs for a great speed boost, he gets behind her again and swings the blade at the back of her legs, in a sweeping motion.

Miles sputtered as she was knocked off her feet landing head first on the ground. "Why am I enjoying this battle so much now?" Miles asked Chaos with a smile. ((If Miles wasnt a lesbian I could see a MilesXChaos thing happening at the ending , or maybe it will be Nah.))

She used her blade to support herself to her knees. "Repth." She spoke as she healed herself. Onto her feet she poked her sword forward like a spear and jousted towards her once foe, now friend's chest. "Rose Thorn!" The sword hit Chaos Chest and was quickly pulled out, followed by a spin attack. After regaining her balance, she quickly stabbed upwards to create a wound in his leg.

Chaos's HP: 200

((RANK UP!!! ))

"Your enjoying it because it's less like a fight and more like a sparring match." Chaos said as the AIDA in his legs faded away. He was pretty much a normal pc again, with the exception of his chest, neck, and lower face (mustache area down, kinda like Kakashi's face mask in Naruto). "Which, by the way, your not doing that bad at eliminating this AIDA in me. Cain's weakening and screaming in anguish now. Soon enough, he'll be depleted of all his energy. From there, I don't care who drains me when the barrier is broken. This is fun, but the sooner it's over, the sooner we can stop fighting each other, and fight alongside one another like before. I'm sorry I didn't believe in your strengths as well as the others' and went straight forward with trying to do this all on my own. That was selfish, and I'm sorry." Chaos said as he placed his hand over the growing dark sphere in his chest, feeling a little pain from Cain's protests.

"Why are you... letting her... defeat us? Why... did you deny me? TELL ME!" Cain said in pain as Chaos smiled at him.
"I'll answer your questions in order as to how they were asked. I'm not letting her win, she's actually doing this with her own power. I denied you because I knew that even though you promised power, the one you were promising wasn't me, it was yourself. Now then... either continue screaming in pain, or shut up, I'm trying to enjoy myself here." Chaos said as his mental avatar faded, leaving Cain alone, still reeling in pain.
"Damn them both... damn the human race... damn it ALL!!!"

Chaos was limping a little with that leg wound, but soon grew used to it. "Let's continue this, shall we?" he says as he lifts his blade up over his head and charges it for a downward slam. (you can hit me before I let it go if you wish, or say I'd already launched the slam at her, it's your choice.)

Her sword raised above her head as she cushioned the blow and slid to her right. "I think your a good guy Chaos... but" She slid underneath his leg as the heavy blade hit the ground. "-Its time for this to end!" Quickly she sliced upwards striking his sword arm. "Rengeki" read above his head and the moment was finally right. "Last Resort!!" Suddenly Miles's HP dropped down to 1 and her SP to 0. The thin blade she carried was set aflame and began striking at amazing speeds. It finally slowed but before it was over, one final stab to the chest was to finish. The sword began to glow excedingly brighter and eventually released a giant ball directly at his body setting him ablaze.

Chaos's HP: 0.

She took a few steps back as the sword she had just used began to open up forming a long gun-like bracelet. "Its not my fault if this doesnt work properly..." she sighed as a beam began to grow in a bubble at the tip. The words 'data drain' covered the couples screens as a light show happened before them. A mans body was left behind.

Miles slowly walked up to the limp, but still alive, boy and said, "I think we can be friends now," with a smile and an outstretched hand.

"Damn... someone get the license plate of that semi that just ran me over?" Chaos said weakly as he reached up and grabbed her hand, putting most of his weight into his feet and legs to lift him up, instead of relying all on her power alone. "And hopefully that will be the last we see of Cain. I don't feel him within me anymore. Your ok, right?" Chaos asks her as he tries to keep his balance with his blade stuck in the ground.

"Yeah... Im fine..." she said ignoring her bleeding arm. "I think theres only one battle left and its between Apple and those two girls. Id help but..." she quickly tries to stray away from her injury. "uhh... its not my place."

"I can only hope that Applegate doesn't fall too far into the enemies hands. I can understand why it would be hard for you to fight her, since you two are so close and all." Chaos says calmly as he places his hand on her shoulder. "Why am I saying 'I hope', I KNOW she'll be alright." He told her assuringly with a smile.

Ren's eyes widened fearfully as Applegate's blade rushed towards her. She tried to think of something, anything, that would save her. Not just her, Rin too...
Instinctively, she drew her weapon, surprised when she found not a set of blades in her hands, but the Grimoire Minoshiya had given them...
Would it work...?
I-I think so... Rin timidly replied, If her HP is low enough...
Ren tried to grin maliciously, as she usually did when the end of a battle was in sight, but all she managed was a kind of grimace.
Let's do it, then...!
The Book-ended staff began to shine. Bewildered, the sisters watched apprehensively as it "charged".
The two aimed it at Applegate...
"Go!"
The glowing energy released itself from the weapon, propelled forward by an unseen force. It slammed into Applegate as her sword stopped inches before the Multi Weapons' chest. Ren screwed her eyes shut against the light.

"I dont know..." Miles replied to Chaos. "Apple has wanted to truly serve Eve since the beginning... this might be her wish."

A light hit me square in the chest. I grimaced, in an almost angry way. "Rin! Your gonna regret this someday! You have lost a friend... and gained a powerful enemy." I began to glow as I was lifted into the air by the force. 'Data Drain' read across both our screens. "Mark this day, Rin... become stronger and face me on this day... in one year." The rosebud that once created this monster had begun to form around her once again. "You shouldve let me help you Rin... we couldve been such good friends... to bad." The rose began to creep closer to her head. "In one year Rin... I will kill you..." I became sucked into the rosebud completely as it began to burn away, roots-up. The spinelike wings on my back burned away with the rose, any my eyes changed to the savage red that they once were, however, my hair remained the same... even the aftermath of AIDA affects the PC i guess.

I dropped to the ground, put my hand on my knee and looked up at the figure that destroyed me. "Rin... remember my promise..." I smiled. "Eve loves her children and will give them the holy judgement... she loves to give it to sinners like you. Ill fight with all of you til the end... even if that does mean killing Eve. She lives in all of us and thus cant die." I preached to all those in our group. "She will live... forever..." Miles slowly approached me.

"Apple?" she questioned me behind tearful eyes. "Whatre you saying?"

"What Im saying is..." I rose to Miles level and grabbed her by the neck. "I dont need any of you after this battle!" I tossed her towards Chaos. "The two of you look like a suitable couple... your both stupid; meaningless; only fighting because everyone tells you to..."

"Apple-chan..." Miles cried in a low voice.

"Shut up! Lier!" I screamed accusingly. "I know your not like me. You had a boyfriend!" Miles looked at me wided eyed. "That boy you were with while I was working with Eve... he wasnt your brother like you told me. You arent like me... Join your friend that you had oh so much fun battling. Im through with you..." I began to walk away briskly leaving the group to talk amongst themselves. "Tell me when were leaving..." I called to Glace.

Miles reached to Chaos and pulled his sleeve. "How do you think she knew?" she asked him.

Chaos just stood there, a little confused. He decided to walk over to Applegate and ask, "What are you doing Applegate? Why are you acting this way? From what I can gather, Miles still likes you. Once our fight was done, her chief concern, as was mine, was the outcome of your fight with Rein. We had hoped that you would be restored like Dex, Uraki, Ao, and myself. What is your problem?" Chaos asked her, a slight tone of impatience along with the sound of grogginess from being low on energy in his voice.

"Chaos... leave her be. She's chosen her path. Don't force her to do something she doesn't want to do." Shadow tells him in a whisper message. Once done, Shadow turns back to Glace and relaxes a little. "Wonder what else Eve's got in store for us..." Shadow says calmly as he looks around the area a little.

"I am recovered! I was under for the minority of the battle!" I barked at Chaos. "I have been... betrayed by the one I once thought I loved. I have no problems... call me what you will but this is me in control. The AIDA told me things about her... and this only confirmed my original thoughts. She is in love with you Chaos... be glad and dont ask me whats wrong... Im your ally until the end of this, but afterwards... I dont think we will ever talk again."

I turned to Shadow. "How would any of us know that?..." I snapped.

"Sorry you think that..." Chaos says before walking back over to the group.
"I'm not allowed to ask a general question? EVEN IF no one has the answer? You need to chill a little." Shadow says as he collects his thoughts.

Ren backed away a little, panting. She was amazed at the outcome of the battle, considering the major difference in levels. She half closed her eyes, but barely had time to relax, as Applegate began threatening her little sister with death. And if anything could have annoyed her at that moment, then that did the job nicely.
"Oi! Leave Rin alone!" Ren shouted at the top of her lungs, tiny hands curled into fists. Every part of her tiny form was shaking in anger, right up to the tips of her canine ears, "She was trying to HELP you, moron!! Do you think she WANTED to hurt you?!"
The Lei stomped up to the larger Multi Weapon and glared up at her, fury plain in her mismatched eyes. The difference in size was almost comical.
"I can count the number of friends Rin's made, because of me, on one hand and still have fingers left over, for crying out loud! Do you think she'd just willingly do that to you?!!"
The Multi Weapon's panting replaced her silence for a moment, then she gave a cold, unamused laugh, "You know, I don't see why someone like Miles could ever like you..." Ren continued, deaf to her sister's anxious comments echoing in her head, warning her to stop, "If you ever lay a hand on my sister again... I'll... I'll...!" She trailed off, tail quivering furiously.

I began to giggle. "How could anyone ever expect you to understand... Kira had been fed. I had power and I was in control!" I picked up the small lie as if it really were a cat by the back of her collar. "I was only fighting with the character you both share to kill you!" Suddenly I actually listened to her next comments. "I dont know either why Miles ever liked me... but what are YOU gonna do if I try to hurt your sister. Shes got legs... She can use them without your help! Are you gonna kill me? Oh boo ho. Catgirl wants to hurt me. Like that would ever happen. Dont bring todays outcome into play... you killed an AIDA, not me!"

Suddenly I dropped to the ground. ((MIND BATTLE!!))

"Why dont you kill them now!" Kira shouted at me.

"I want to wait...let her become stronger without that sister of hers as a crutch."

"Exactly! Kill her sister now!"

"Ugh... GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I shouted so loud everyone could hear.

"I LIKED BEING IN CONTROL!!" I screamed at the Lei. "Whyd you have to tear it away... I wont..." my voice began to break as tears rolled down my face. "forgive you..."

"Apple..." Chaos began before Shadow held his arm out, stopping Chaos.

"I'll handle this..." Shadow said as he turned to face Applegate. "Just because you can't control your inner demons without the help of a false goddess DOESN'T mean that you should blame the girls here for doing what they thought was right at the time that they did it. Your own weakness is what led you to this point. If you were REALLY in control of yourself, then you wouldn't have attacked those two. They don't act it, but I can tell they're just children. Stop your complaining. Where'd be the use in letting someone else help you control your inner demons, when you can learn to control them yourself." He said with a slight tone of annoyance. He turned away and waited for something else to happen.
