Gabi also shows no sign of actually being a hacker, whereas Zelkova has his illegal horns and apparent high level. Then there's Zelkova's behaviour, he was found in an AIDA-filled dungeon 'observing'.
My guess is that Gabi is the little kid and Zelkova is an adult hacker.
I dunno, I get the impression Gabi is actually fairly old... Keyaki's horns aren't definitely illegal, that's just what one character thinks... Sakaki's far too intelligent to actually be 10, his vocabulary is that of like an author or something, so we can't just judge age by mental attributes.
What about Wiseman? Wasn't he like 10 too?
9 year old digimon card collector. that makes him....16 now?
And still collecting Digimon cards.

That's why some people think he might be Yata.

Kuhn's IRL name wasn't listed in the fanbook either. Bandai likes playing with us.

I doubt a 16 year old would be a CC Corp admin.
@Fragments: Well, it wouldn't be like them to put down
Tomonari Kasumi as his real name, if he really is what everyone thinks he is.

Why not? He was clearly some kind of Genius in the first games and the guy that was in charge of the RA plan was working for the Ministry of Economic's at a young age as well.

Did anyone else notice that it shows how Ovan became infected. Theres a quick scene where hes looking at something potentially harmful to Eina. Although you cant see her, you know its the place where he chair is.

Also I dont know if anyone else has mention this, but could it be when haseo gets infected with AIDA, its Aura who saves him and bestows the X Form? Maybe thats why his X form is white.

Yata isn't 16, and Amagi isn't Wiseman...
And I've heard that they've pretty much said it's hackers that fix broken Haseo (probably with some cooperation)

The idea of .hack is to create the effect of the characters being the opposite to their real-life selves. This idea stems from the fact that people play games in order to escape reality and to be something they can't be in real life.
Sakaki is a ten year-old boy in real life, but in the game he is a famous, intelligent adult. However, these facades are never absolute, Sakaki's childish side shows in his inability to make correct judgements.
Gabi acts like an old man, but he acts lazily and as if he only wants to have fun, he uses smilies and is seen posting as if he were a girl in the forums. This leads me to believe that his giant, tough image is the exact opposite to what he is; a young girl playing the old man.
Zelkova looks like a young kid and acts like one too, but he displays a great judgement and strong sense of what is right and wrong. The fact that he was in a dungeon observing also pretty much proves he's an adult; no child would ever want to spend time in a dungeon 'observing'.

The City place is Netslum, right?

That is, apparently, the case.
it seems that Haseo's data is damaged by an AIDA infection and he is then repaired by the hackers in Net Slum.

Somewhere around 2:28, Haseo's Edge Punisher sword looks like a guitar, or some weirdly shapen axe. XD

I thought it was a guitar too at first glance...then I looked at it again and it was an axe. "Rock Hard" Haseo lol.

That's curious. Didn't one of the Analysis books confirm that Helba gave up authority of Net Slum and allowed CC-Corp to turn it into a regular root town?
Points of Interest:
-There's a Tri-Edge marking in Eina's room, and a black rip in the ground. Did Ovan harm the girl, or was this where his infection began?
-evilSakaki has usurped control of the Serpent of Lore.
-Everybody's chatting about how Ovan will probably die, but what about Yata? I don't see him featured in many screens, and he's absent from that anime promotional shot featuring Haseo, the other epitaphs, and the returned Sakisaka, Tabby and Shino.

Analysis also says that there's more than one Net Slum, and the one that was sanctioned was the one containing the Vagrant AI's.

I'm thinking it's where his infection began, or atleast became too much of a threat. GU+, though not canon, makes clear that Ovan and Aina are on good terms.

He did? I only saw him summoning a shitload of black spots in the arena.

Yata's not infected with an AIDA that seems to be eating away at his real body, though. He's not featured in many screens or the promotional shot because he's a mysterious guy that doesn't do much. Just because he's in Haseo's party doesn't mean he'll be all buddy buddy friendship.

Alas, the Skeith Effect does not affect him
