(wow... it's been a while since I've even came here! lol)

anyhow:
Pros:
- Battle system was way sweet *Rengeki!*
- The new Grunties are awesome,
- Chim chims
- I can't help but to love Piros 3rd, he's just so pathetic he's awesome!
- Job Extension
- Jiggle dynamics! :twisted: (in a couple scenes w/ Pi or Alkaid :twisted: )
- The Bike waz uber-rad
- Selling stuff in your guild shop for loads o' cash! totally beats selling to the NPC shops

Cons:
- I liked the magic spell diversity in the original .hack games better, there were just so many! it was great!
- VA for Alkaid sucked and sounded too much like Sakubo (however the voices for Saku & Bo themselves were okay)
- Name changes! OMG they sucked!
Taika -> Antares?
Yowkow -> Alkaid?
Tenrow -> Sirius?
Keyaki -> Zelkova?
I quess we'll have to live with 'em though... -_- *sigh*
- Not being able to use the Bike in dungeons
- Salvadore Aihara's voice... I can see why they did it, cuz he's supposed to be kind of a cheesy tabloid reporter but still... >.< It hurt my ears...

Ha, another person who thinks like me!

On name changes, are they that bad? I mean, Antares is a pretty cool name.

And wtf kinda name is Yowkow?

you still can't skip through the lengthy credits T___T

was it just me or did it lag a lot during the ceremony? just walking around and talking to the people was really slow at times
really? I liked the credits for some reason (although there isn't even anything special) I went out of the way to beat 'Tri-Edge' again just to see them (I'm weird that way ^^; )

it was lagging so badly for me. Especially in that one scene with Ovan... oh all the pausing. The cermony made me sad though... I was running around for 10 minutes looking for the last person when he was just sitting there (Matsu.)
same Matsu drove me to insanity when i couldn't find him

Cons: Some of the voiceovers *cough Atoli cough*, the name changes, the level cap, the dungeons and fields are no longer connected, the fields are all chains of islands, and there are only really two types of dungeon.

Other than that, this is a great game. Too bad it came out so late in the PS2's lifetime. It would have been a big hit earlier. *wheelies away*
how do you do the wheelies on the bike?

The wheelie isn't anything special, really...It's funner to crash into monsters and try to run everyone over in the root towns

Kicking chim chims is fun, but they are annoying as hell in large groups....

They should have a kicking for distance contest with the chim chims :twisted:

The things i like about the .hack is the cg and the vioce overs they done real good and they put a good bit of humor in it.

What i dont like about it is that you cant change your party members equipment and you cant change your weapon types faster.

Agreed..

Cons:

-Game was a bit too easy
-No really good high level  edge punishers <in case no one knows

But other than that this game rocks :)

Another Con:
-some of those scenes where there lips don't even move... It just bothered me for some reason, but I guess I could live with it
-only the 'woah majorly good graphics' can be played in the movie player... I kind of liked some of those 'not so great' cutscenes too =.=

I really like the name changes, although I would have liked to hear it in Jpapanese
Anyways..
Pros: Graphics
Avatar batlles
Characters (especially Kuhn)
Story
Pausing during cut scenes
Battle system
Arena
Motorcycle

Cons: Not enough characters to play along with. ( I mean 5? what the hell?)
Chims were funfor a while, but I hate when you are forced to kick them to get anywhere.

That's pretty much it though. Overall my favorite game ever.

Yeah, personally, I was amazed by how much I was enjoying the story.
As the ending cinematic was rolling I couldnt stop thinking " omg this was so fun I have to do it again"
It's not often that I am not just willing but eager to replay games with grinds in them but it was just so cool, and so fun xD
However I am busy compiling some data so restarting will have to wait till I'm done =P
Still, I loved it xD
