I personally like a lot of American music. I'm not limited to it though. Does it really matter where the origin of the music is though? If people quit worrying about mainstream or underground or blahblahblah and just listen to it for what it is, then it's a much more enjoyable experience.

Bad, since I find that I only enjoy music from various anime/ japanese games. I hate rap <_<.

it's not great. some of the lyrics suck, i'd rather listen to music in a different language, to me it flows better...even the worst rap would sound good in like french or japanese...
