All the wavemasters are ok in my books, just give them the proper equipment and they're all just as good as the other.

I -heart- Mistral. She's so cute, and her character design makes me happy. She's such a blockhead, it's hard for me not to love her. Which is strange, considering the fact that I usually hate ditzy characters. o_O
To comment on the people who hate her voice, her japanese voice is pretty good. It's funny hearing her go "Nani nani?". xD For those who've played the game once around in english, give it a shot with japanese voice-overs. It's not all that bad. At least you don't have to deal with Rachel's obnoxious southern accent.

If it wasn't for the fact that Elk has tried to steal my bracelet, and led me into dungeon death-traps, and is all around pretty aloof, he'd be one of my favorites. But alas...

Lol I personally prefet Mistral over Elk.. I mean Elk dies to easily for me, cause I don't party Elk much XD... But even thought mistral took awhile to heal, it was better than Elk... = /
