Not really. The locked left arm clearly isn't a normal option in "The World" character creation, meaning that it's either a hack or there's something special behind it. So Naobi probably just wants to know what it is exactly and how Ovan did it.

From what I gather, TaN doesn't like the Twilight Brigade in the first place. An alterior motive might be to deprive the Twilight Brigade of its leader. Or maybe Naobi wants the Key of the Twilight for himself.

Actually their is annotation from Shino that Naobi, Ovan, and Phyllo all grouped together at one point to find the key. It is obvious that Naobi has some feelings besides hate for Ovan, probably admiration or kinship, he did go through all that work to make the setting of "Twilight set behind mountains" for Ovan, whatever the tale is it's probably going to be very dramatic.

But wasn't it official that the series would be 26 episodes long? I have a feeling Shino is gonna get zapped(datadrained) soon. XD

Did anyone else catch the part where Naobi said it was the end of his character? I guess it comes as no surprise considering where he was last episode, and what he can do.

Is it me or was the art/animation for this episode better than the rest?

Poor Tri-Edge. . . forced to do nothing until Shino gets DD. Hmm, //Roots needs more Tri-Edge.

But he said "The end of this character." Which kind of hints that he may make a new account and come back.

He was at the Serpent of Knowledge, in episode 9 (or was it 10?). If I remember correctly, it's a system protected area only accessible to a system administrator. And Yata is a system admin. along with Pai. Well, I could be wrong about Pai.

Though Naobi isn't a system administrator. Ender said to Naobi: "Shino handed over the data on the undercover investigation to the Administrators." And earlier, "Was it the Administrators?" regarding an investigation done on TaN.

EDIT: If he was before, he isn't now; administrators who go against the rules get demoted or fired. We see this in .hack//AI BUSTER vol 2.

"The end of this character" refers to what he and Ender were saying in the previous episode. It means the characters they are currently using are only temporary guises and they have 'true' identities in the form of other characters.

we'll isnt the series 26 episodes, so something very weird is goin to happen in this time, like towards the end do we get to see HASEO THE TERROR OF DEATH? and i'm guessing haseo was there when shino got dd.

and i cant really agree with Naobi and Ender being

not that i dont par say 'agree' with you just i'm a little light on the subject of those two, and i can tell any resemblence i the personas

If tri-edge does do more then move his eye and sit in the feedle postion in mid-air (which i wonder why nobody saw this charecter floating in mid-air) i will be very surprised, but i'm sure he is going to be involvlved in the "unlocking" of Ovans arm.
