wat was the fire and when did ithappen?

The fire was supposably an "accident" where CCorp pretty much got burned down. If I am not mistaken, about 80% of the data of The World was lost. After that they mixed in parts of another game and replaced the deleted data of The World with that (I think). Of course I have also heard that there was something about a project G.U. or something like that going like that going on before the time of the fire (I think again). If this is perhaps correct (which I doubt) project G.U. might have been the original cause for the destruction of the world (don't know how) only to be shortly followed perhaps by an intentional fire to make it seem like The World had been burned down in an accident. As for the time when the fire broke out, I don't remember exactly due to my bad memory but my guess is about 3-5 years after the games.
