Currently I'm building up this wiki as an alternative to the FAQ system that GameFAQs currently has. Please bring .hack and .hack//G.U. information to the table, including walkthroughs, FAQs, etc. and post them on the wiki!

Also if any moderators are interested, please register and help moderate the wiki itself.

That sort of information is alright... if a lot of stuff starts coming in I'll probably re-organize the Wiki to rival .hack//Wiki.

Why not just update the default .hack articles at the normal wikipedia site?

Because the .hack//Wiki was based more on storyline, and I don't see anything in regards to updated game walkthrough/FAQ stuff there. Plus, Wikipedia doesn't do that sort of stuff last I checked.

Question to Velocity7

How did you mange to type out Yata's name in Kanji?
It involves an old Jpanese term, and my typing program is not letting that term out no matter how much I tried. (I tried tyoing Yata, and I can't get the terms when changign them to kanji, I even tried the original term, Yatakarasu, and the term still don't come out)

Even Japanese people have trouble with this

Type
"hachishiseki" into your ime and delete the last kanji. Or set it as a custom word, that's what that feature is for....

Kuukai: At this point it's kind of hard to find people who are literate enough in Japanese to have played the game. My guess is that everyone else is just doing guesswork and have no idea what they are doing in the game... if we want more contributors we'll have to wait until the game releases for real in September. I opened this thing up because the Kouryaku sites got all the good information but would not bother or care to fix some mistakes they had (e.g., typos).

However, I do urge contributions to the older .hack games; preferably in the same format as the kouryaku websites have it for those games. They apparently have the stuff down in terms of layout and all.
