Wouldent it be cool if it were on pc over Ps2?

Just a thought but I think they should have a game for computer to rather than just Ps2.. or meby even have them on a compatibul server, im shure the could do alot to improve the graphics and rection time.. not that im complaing, I just thought that maby they should make a game like the one there playing in the books, rather than having a game about a game.. that way you could actuily customise alot more of you apperance, battel stratigy and the way you do things... they could also host more of thos cool events like in the legend of the twilight books! (And also update and Bug-repair)! Even if there arnt any of those cool virtul head sets like in the books I think it would be alot cooler... this would take away people from those crapy games like "EverQuest" or "World Of Warcraft".. and have a realy good game to play insted of a bunch of medeocer games... well I dont know if this is a good idea or not but it is an intesting topic...

How powerful of a computer would you need to play such a .hack game though?

Ya I agree, or maby they could make it so multipul systems could be connected to the game.... cause even when Ps2 was brandnew i was realy dissiponted with it.... how ever i very happy with the games them selfs..... and i realy like the Dot Hack stuff period so i may still have to get a ps2 anyway..


But if they could make a system like in the show <drool> lol i would be hooked on the game for a life time hehe!

That type of system where your still connectid to somesort of computer but can look into a virtual world is actuly not sofar-feched if you think about it even a real virtual simulater is within our power to make...

They probly alredy go somthing like a virtual visor alredy made and not telling us ... <ROLF>

And to make a virtual simlulater i would probly try to make some sort of headset with lazer (without frying your brain ) technolighy to read and implicate the brains simapses... insted of having a dumb suit to make sirtant nurves fell a senstion like microsoftis doing... of course this means you would have to completly realy on your brain, and would have more perposes made for it than a simple game... also building a world that way would be hardon one persons braind because of the fact that all senses would be used.... Ah, o well thats alot to think about... :?I bring this topic up because in the manga books and vido(s) sukasa would not be stuck in the game or be put in a coma by it and alot of the sensations of pain would not exist....

hahaha sounds like the Matrix lol. anyways I think that would be cool if some thing like that happens so there will be a different way to play the game. i like the idea though.

well we have a .Hack//fragment on the way...and seeing as fragment is the beta for the world they have left it open so they can announce the world after they see how succesful the world is!

i would prefer to play it on my laptop as i take it everywhere, and its a pain using emulators. however i wouldnt be able to enjoy the visual effects like i would with a console, although atm i can play pretty much anything ^^

but i believe if there was a .hack//THEWORLD you can bet your bottom dollar that it would be on several formats. like FFXI for example, or even PSU. the more formats it covers, the more availible it is for everyone else...therefore more mooneh!

I'd rather see the game as a true MMORPG, rather than the mimic that the game is for PS2. I'd say keep it on the platform it's already designed for, but also putting it on PC wouldn't be a bad idea (as PC's have proven to be rather stable compared to Playstation, XBOX, and Nintendo). I think designing a dedicated machine for 1 game is going a bit too far.

i think that in the future "The World" will be released as a MMORPG. and will do great. also id say that a HMD(head mounted display) would probably be used if it does come to the PC. i play WoW and Guild Wars but i would for sure drop them to play The World any day lol
