Is it true?
Is it true?
I was looking up random stuff on wikipedia, and when I was looking at stuff from GU, they said that a popular theory about Tri was that he was the bracelet and that the bracelet on his hand was missing a chunk where Blackrose had sliced it up. I've watched the fight over and over, but there are no missing chunks that I see...

The bracelet dosent have to look the EXACT same as the other games., You guys are getting a little to sceptical over everything now. Can we tone it down a bit? Wikipedia can't be trusted anymore, and there are alot of places with crap informations, or romours started out by noobs.
The bracelet looks different because CC2 thought it would be dull to leave it the same graphics, maybe? Its kinda like asking why water freezes when you put it in cold temperatures. Sorry for the flaming/spaz, alot of this stuff is getting to my head. =/

eh i wouldn't discount it just yet. it seem's logical, if incredibly unlikely.KaenKasharion wrote:Graphical mistake maybe. Now that I see this theres a possibility Tr-Edge could be data draining to complete it (very unlikely) or thats why he's beserk. I severly doubt it all though.
and i can't see much of the bracelet missing, but my vision suck's.... in a sense.

It is my belief that Tri-Edge and his broken bracelet are a result of Morganna(I believe Morganna is still pulling strings) trying to create a clone of Kite and the bracelet to do her dirty work (much like she was trying to do with Tsukasa, but it didn't work). The broken bracelet is a result of her using the last known data fragments of Kite before she and the bracelet were completely erradicated.
But this also conflicts with Kite's PC data being heavily protected.
Just my thought.

Yeah, I finally saw the missing piece...anyways....as for the thing w/ Morganna making a clone, I think she learned her lesson when none of the clones she made were able to fulfill her purpose. If she wanted to use Kite, she'd just try to warp him, I'm thinking, which wouldn't work cuz Kite knows Morganna power and he wasnt as weak as Tsukasa(weak as in she played the game as an escape from real life cuz she couldnt deal w/ her problems and Kite played originally to hang out w/ Orca.)
Since Morganna was rebooted or reset w/ the rest of the system, she fades back into the core of the OS system as Aura takes control of the system, making Aura the new controller of The World, before its untimely demise.
Tri-edge has the possibility of providing the main characters w/ a quest within a quest. While we try to beat Tri-edge, somehow we learn more of the bracelet (probably from Ovan or Yatta) and they figure that a piece is missing ,thus the quest to find the pieces to complete Tri-edge....it could be that Tri-edge is invincible while incomplete and to beat him, you first have to complete him w/ the rest of the bracelet.
That theory(which I havent bought completely into) reminds me of another game or soemthing, where that happened or maybe i made that up. That's funny, but this idea is really sound. I actually did see this somewhere. I just dont remember where. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, post it, please.

In my opinion, I believe the broken bracelet is just there for nostalgic purposes. I just don't think that looking for the missing peice would be significant enough to have the game's plot revolve around it. If anything, I think the mising bracelet peice should be collected in fragments and add some extra information from the past games, almost like the memory fragments did from the //Sign characters.

It would be pretty Bland if Morganna was ressurected/turned evil in the splice between the new and old worlds. That would make everything seem even more like the old plot in the original 4 games.Michael_JG wrote:It is my belief that Tri-Edge and his broken bracelet are a result of Morganna(I believe Morganna is still pulling strings) trying to create a clone of Kite and the bracelet to do her dirty work (much like she was trying to do with Tsukasa, but it didn't work). now im not sure if this really means much, but i just thought id throw it out there, it pertains to the bracelet......
on the last episode of //sign, when the two guardians are squaring it off (tsukasa's and one of morganna's), tsukasa's guardian has a bracelet in the center of it for the data drain, of course, but it is the color of kites bracelet. Now the other guardian however, its bracelet is red! And when they data drain each other, they both dissapear never to be seen again, now im not sure of it but possibly that could be the bracelet that tri-edge may be holding, not sure, just thought it might be worth looking into.
