kite's fate?

i would like to know something.

for a while now, people have been saying that kite in the real world has died...

what in the heck are you talking about!

is there any proof at all that he's dead, or is it just an internet rumor?

i know and agree with you.

it's just that for some reason alot of 'intelligent'*cough dumb people cough* people have been saying that he's dead IRL

it's realy starting to bother me.....

*notice no evil smily=i'm realy annoyed*

if anyone who has been saying this could please tell us why they have been, it would be much discussed(and i guess appreciated

lol exactly if mario dies then there is no more meaning to the games.
if kite dies then that just suks alot of life outa .hack

The life of dot hack does not revolve around just the characters. .hack is the story of the evolution of an online game. Some players see the game as something more; a different world they can visit to escape from thier own. It just so happens that thier new world also faces conflicts. Each .hack media reveals bits and pieces of information on this new world that these players take part. Players such as Alberio, Kite, Sora, Subaru, Haruka, Balmung, Sanjuro, Elk, Tsukasa, Krim, and others deal with both conflicts in thier world and the game world; trying to discover the mysteries and secrets of thier new world. I would say the life of .hack revolves around the 'the world' itself; not just around the players to strive to find the key of the twilight.

I don t think they would kill Kite like that and even if Kite did die, what would it matter in GU? The only remnant of Kite is Tri-edge. Since no one talks about whats really goin on in the real world, there can't be much indication about things like this. Troughout all the series, not a tremdous focus was placed on the conditions of the player in the real world, except for Tsukasa's condition in the hospital, Liminality. The games didnt really even cover much of the characters' life outside the game, but mostly just goodnessinsight into their characters via PMs, BBS, and playing w/ them.

So I dont think that Kite's death, unless directly tied to some event in GU would matter, cuz as of now, his role is over, (unless his death caused the release of his data and his data turns out to be Tri, which is a jump, but not totally impossible) there isnt really anything that could really give his death much significance....

Oh no...I'm having another theory....uh forgot it. Thank goodness...(dont worry it wasnt a real theory or one worth hearing, it was just garbage)

He is a 24 yr old guy going to college and tring to become something in life so of coarse he isn't going to play a game 24/7. I wouldn't be sad if Kite died I would kinda be happier im sick of him takeing the spot light the whole time. Finally the baton has been passed.

I wouldn't mind if Kite came back to 'steal the spotlight.' In fact,, he's my favorite character. He actually did something instead of most of the players sitting around talking about whats going on all the time.*coughSigncough*

Kite was very likeable, too. I don't see anything to hate about him either. Okay, he saved the world once, and it would be kinda annoying if he came back and saved it again even though he's in his 20's, but, yeah...

I hate shugo. =(

He also had more powers then the others in sign -_- so all they could really do is talk and find out whats going on. They actually had to do research on whats going on not like Kite who had people tell him every little thing. I don't see how Kite can be very likeable he had no personality and his voice got annoying. Shugo though was pretty kool. I only liked him in the manga though.

They would ruin the series if Kite once agian stole the spotlight i mean Haseo is going to be a way much kooler hero.

He chose to die. He was Data drained to save the other people put into comas. His body in the real world died, leaving his soul trapped in "The World" and becoming Tri Edge. He's official, not a rip of anyone. He is also the new twilight. He can't escape from it because he can't return to the real world.

Hah. . .yea right for one Im sure Bandai has it all looked up tight. Also how could have kite died 10 years ago if he was in the game and at the end of .hack//Legend of Twilight it showed him log back in. You really shouldn't post false info.

looking at this smartly, you wouldn't have to prove your theory K2K (Kite_2000) but your souce's are incredibly questionable. you would have to realy do some converting for us to believe it out of hand.

if you can't prove where you have gotton this information, than all we can do is assume it's as though Shinsou Wotan claim's and that you could have just pulled it out of your head/butt!
