GU online game?

Post by Aedgoll »

I found this on the GU board and thought i would pass it on.

Take a look at this pic Image

Specifically in the bottom right. Its hard to see without zooming, but the box right above 'Card Game' says "Game Vol.1~3 .hack//GU Online .hack" They arent talking about Fragment because thats over on the other side. Could we be looking at a GU online game?

heh, you're right. In my excitement i didnt realize that it was in the 'Real World' section. Whoops. Well, at least now we know that GU takes place at the end of the card game.

I know i wanted to know that... :wink:

Seems like .hack//G.U. Online Jack will be an OVA like liminality. Look to the far bottom left of the picture. The words 'Real Word' are present in the relation. In the row is Liminality and Online Jack. What do ya think? 8)

Yeah, makes sense. When that shot first surfaced, we figured another CCG. Eh, I still think that timeline can be pretty misleading.

Only if you don't follow the white links; I can understand the graph pretty well.

d5t: If you follow that logic, look at the upper-left corner; .hack//udeden (manga) and .hack//ZERO (novel) are listed on the same line. Are they both manga/novel? ^^; Same with .hack//SIGN, the .hack games, and .hack//udeden (anime) all being listed on the same line, as well as the Terminal Disc being on the same line as .hack//GnU (manga).

Pretty good observation there velocity 7, but d5t is right Online Jack is in the real world part of the timeline, so it could be like Liminality. There's just one question who or what is Jack?

It's a slang term for Logging in (Jack in).

Some people just go too far in trying to "imitate" the American online culture. ^^;
