The Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham, and John Paul Jones were all brittish i havent seen good music come out of the U.S.A for a very long timeThe Partisan wrote:Blasphemy! American music is great! The good ol' USA gave birth to and perfected ROCK! Some of the best bands of all time like Led Zepplin,
I wouldn't call the first three rock...Rock is my favoirte hence Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, Blink 182, Sum 41, Evenescense and Papa Roach is what i listen to the most.
Hollaback Girl isn't the best song, I agree. But people msotly listen to it for the BANANAS. :D And My Humps isn't the best song lyric wise, it, like a lot of other popular songs (even J-music), are mostly liked for their rhythm/sound. I don't understand hardly a word of J-music but yet I sitll like it just for how it sounds.I mostly hate american music, mostly stuff like Gwen Stefani's holler... whatever the crap it's called it's just plain retarded, and that Black-eyed peas "lady lumps" song, which is hardly a song, simply a sellout to sex meant to make guys "happy" so they'll buy the crap.
Dosn't really work on feeling the spirit if its all talking about Sex or Drugs like most music dose.Kaito Fujiwara wrote:Okay ladies & ladies, here's my take on this,
Music is the universal language, it should not matter what genre it is, who is singing it, or where its from. All that matters is if you can feel it's spirit, and this can be applied to nearly all music.
So there you have it.
YEAH!!! That's what I've been saying for years! Good to hear another one of my generation apreciates the classics!Xae-Solace wrote:Uhh 70s music is where most all our rock comes from and 80s DISCO???? What? What? What? lol dude 80s was when grundge rock and power rock started..
