I know it sounds a bit harsh, but I don't think Mr. Speilberg is living up to his name XD. While I still like his movies they aren't as dead on as they used to be...
When A.I. came to air, i thought it would be a great movie.
so i bought it and found out it's just another pinokkio story with 3 layers above it.
really disapointing that was -.-

When Jurassic Park was made, it was so impressive that few movies are compared to it but now, his more recent movies like AI have been for the most part, dissappointments. I am wondering if anyone else shares this opinion?
AI was based on a short story called Super-Toys last all summer long: http://www.mysteriesofai.com/resources/ ... erlong.htm
If I recall correctly, Spielberg wasn't the original director. The first guy died early in development then Speilberg was brought on.
Well there is still hope. I think some filmmakers are getting involved with the gaming industry. Burnout had a team of filmmakers working on the crashing scenes and I think Steven Spielberg was involved with Kong. I don't remember.
