i think it was about 20 to 21:50. I was experimenting with a sack of junk and then I got the strategy guide and I never wasted a Fae orb again. :) this is play time i had the game 4 about 6 months be4 i beat it, but im on mutation now *YAY* and i have a friend who doesn't have a BBS account here, but he pulled a video game marathon, and beat the game over a weekend.

Instead of dwelling on the fact that I can't log out, I think of it as I don't have to log out.

Doing only the sidequests and collecting the items that would be inaccessable in MUTATION, I beat it in about 10.5 hours on my 2nd run through it. (Speed charms, Ap Do, Grunty Flute, the rare-trade-item hack I had on my memory card, and my trusty strategy-guide helped.)

EDIT: I did not immediately want to jump in to MUTATION (I was only level 27 because I data-drained my enemies instead of killing them), instead I kept playing MUTATION for ten more hours, leveled up to level thirty-five, bought and found all of the best items (the Dryad Sword kicks serious butt) and collected items for affection boosting in the next game.
Now I am on OUTBREAK, and thanks to that preparation, I am unstoppable  !

it took me about 30 something hours because i had to get money and level up for skeith(pronounced liked skate except with a h instead of a e) have to be clear about that because my friends were making fun of me because i pronounced it wrong until i got to watch the cutscenes again, otherwise i'm really bored; i now have 70+ hours on my save file

It took me around 20-something hours to completely complete. Even then, I didn't beat Martina, and beat her near the end of MUTATION.

I really didn't pay attention to how long it took me to beat Skieth. I was really enjoying the game.

Call me pathetic, but I'm still playing infection.

The only reason being, that I just started the whole series (a friend told me about the game about a year ago, but I never had the time to get into it...).

I'm level 27 right now, and I just got up to Skeith's dungeon with something like 13 hours of gameplay... I didn't realize where I was though, and got myself almost owned by some Mu Gaurdians (ALMOST is the key word there... I cleared the first level and walked away with a pair of Bom-Ba-Ye 8) ).

I'm gonna head back to Delta server and get a few "All Dungeon Portals Open" for a few 18-22 level areas before fighting Skeith.

For the first time it take me probably about 45-50 hrs because I didn't have mutation yet and wanted to just play around but the second time I think was about 10 or 11 hours.

if you want to beat skeith try leveling up on levels that are 29 and 30 which give you a better edge. i was on level 32 when i beat skeith.
