Favorite character

I noticed a ton of what characters people hated but what about everyones favorite?
Mine are Mistral, Helba even in infection (the only one I have played so far) she is cool, Elk he is so unconfident its cute, Balmung ( I love the wings) and lastly Piros

(not) lastly: Natsume.

I'm pretty fond of a lot of characters... but some of my favorites are Elk, Kite, Balmung, Black Rose, etc. ^^;

I basically like all the characters in the series. But A20 and Natsume are my favorite.

And Piros I can't stand... I swear he's gay or wacked... And I see Kite as to much of a goody goody.. I honestly don't like Kite. He's character is ugly and he's too nice.

My ultimate favoite is Sanjuro. Next would probally be Balmung. Then lastly would have to be Orca. I really hate Piros as well, the whole quest to make him not-stupid from Mia's potion really got on my nerves.

Yeah, the characters Rachel, Marlo and Piros are the most useless for me and also the only ones who aren´t at 1000 affection in my Ryu Book V.
I only use them when the story dictates it...man, especially that you have to go with Piros several times and can´t skip these missions (too bad that Pking was disabled in the games).

I´ve never healed Piros and when he died I didn´t revive him...I´ve also never given him a gift...nevertheless he´s at 464 affection..why that?

My favorites would have to be all the others....but especially Kite, Sora, Helba, Aura, Tsukasa, Elk, Mia, Blacky, Mimiru, Balmung and Gardenia.

It's pretty lame how people already consider "Tri-Edge" and "Haseo", characters for a game that hasn't even been released yet, to be their favorites...

My favorite .hack characters are:
- Gardenia
- Ryoko Terajima
- Sanjuro
- Moonstone

1. Aura would have to be my absolute favorite. Seeing her evolve and develop over the course of the series was simply amazing. At first glance she seems to be a mere plot device, but if you pay attention to the clues, her personality is simply the most amazing and well developed in the series. I once wrote a fanfiction that portrayed .hack from Aura's point of view. I wonder if I should rewrite it?

2. Zefie would be a close second. Come on, you guys. She's ADORABLE! Aura barely won in my mind. There's nothing I can say about her. She's CUTE!

3. Tsukasa was also pretty awesome. He starts off moody and whiny, and at the beginning I really hated him. But I stuck with it, and he completely turned around. His past blew me away when it all came together, and revealed how manipulative Morganna was, causing me to pity him. His story reminded me of the Wizard of Oz, and he was very much like Dorothy. He had the power to leave the entire time.

4. Maha was awesome. Adorable, charming, and mysterious. She developed into one of the most complex characters ever, despite her lack of a voice. And it's also sort of ironic. She was supposed to tempt Tsukasa into a state of unrequited love, but she's the one who ultimately fell for Tsukasa.

5. Now, if you thought Maha's deaths were tragic, wait till you get a look at Lycoris. Lycoris was a sweet child when the audience first encountered her, but despite her being blind, deaf, and mute, she was still a charming, sweet child. The book tried to make it a mystery of her true nature, but it was obvious that Lycoris was an AI. We didn't care. She came pretty close to being the Ultimate AI, and her sacrifice was vainless. It outraged the readers. We hated Morganna more than we ever had, but there was nothing we could've done. Lycoris had lost all hope in living. She realized it was her fate to die, and she was a failure for her purpose. Even now, I cry.

I'll have to say Aura, but I kinda like Tsukasa to. Natsume is ok and Blamung helps somewhat, but I prefure Aura out of them all.

doode... Piros is awesome!!! the only thing that really irks me about him though is his theme song, which gets really annoying, but he's so stupid and crazy he's awesome!!

I must agree with AuraTwilight about Lycoris: I dang near cried myself! Especially with that illustration to accompany the already heart-rending plot twist.

Kite is my fav. I must say that even though it makes me sound like a noob to have the obvious main character as my favorite. I can only imagine how guilty he probably feels for Orca getting datadrained when he was teaching Kite about the game. And now his sole purpose for playing The World is to get his friend back. *traditional anime shining eyes of manly admiration* Such determination and loyalty to a comrade!
