No, //G.U. is the next series of .hack games. You're confusing it with //Fragment, which, still hasn't been announced for an outside release.

Fragement..... if you check http://WWW.DotHack.com they have a section called "The World" Which I think will be like a free, more cheap version. Kinda like runescape for those who heard of it. But better.
