Saku and Bo

Um...
Maybe its like Mistral and Mirrielle
Diffrent personalities
Diffrent people
Same PC
Same character
Or maybe its not 2 ppl that take turns playing at all
Maybe their sitting side by side and playing as one
But they both have the same abilities
The character photo...
They both are carrying a brown book
Mayb its just their attitude
Possibly their morals
That change depending on who's at the control.

For the record, Saku means new moon and Bo means full moon. Forgot to mention ^^;

Maybe, though there's a theory that at least Saku follows Endrance (they think she's talking about him when she talks about being connected), probably putting her in a non-guild group...

Assuming Endrance is a he... There's a question, has the GU magazine confirmed Endrance's gender?

I don't see where that theory comes from, I assumed it was Haseo considering he's right behind her.

Bo is the introvert and Saku is the extrovert.

You must remember that Saku/Bo is a PC in a videogame. Its unlikely that she will 'evolve' into Saku from Bo.

It is either two people playing with one character, or one person playing the role of a character with a split personality.

two people controling one char is not likely i just think he/she just has two chars. just like the phase. just like the ice climbers in super smash. having to control two people but only one person controling both

No, having two characters is unlikely, unfair, and unwise. We've seen characters being controlled by multiple players before, so it's nothing new.

pink and brown hair r good xamples
perhaps Sakubo really is a Saku and Bo
but they look so similar to the point u kant tell who is who by jus looking
so there referred to as jus Sakubo
no matter which one it is

When you have a new moon, it is the time of the month where you don't see the moon, it's darker. When you have a full moon you see an entire side of the moon, it's brighter. Good and evil. Light and darkness. Both in the same body, but unable to exist in harmony. So depending on the situation, or perhaps just randomly, you get on or the other. You're sitting around clearing up a n00b area for no reason, you have the quiet, introverted Bo. You're going around in a touch area with high level monsters, you get the energy-filled, extrovert Saku. Both have some sort of purpose to fulfill, but due to random changes in who is in control, it makes it impossible to get it done in any sort of time.

And just for the record, couldn't it be that the person controlling the character in the real world is the one with split personalities and just forgot to take her meds? Just a thought.

It seems unlikely that an Anime series like .hack would do something like that, remember the entire theme is based around ordinary people, from school children to your basic 'salary man'.

The World magazine states that it is believed that Saku and Bo are two people using the same character.

Though I may simply be reading too much into this, the use of believed leads me to the conclusion that they are telling us this is not the complete truth. Is it not possible for one of the two sides, Saku or Bo, to be an AI? Possibly whatever form the Machinator takes?

I feel that all these ideas, that Atoli looks like Shino or that Sakubo has two persona, have some deeper, sinister meaning behind them. I doubt that any of the Infinity Eight are simply ordinary players.

Having two Warlocks in the party would be kind of unbalanced, so I think they are one character, with two people controlling her.

But she's my favorite character so far. I always like the silly/hyper characters. Examples: Selphie in FF 8.

Wasn't it in one of the news a while ago that Sakubo was a former coma victim (of Tri Edge I believe) so it's possible that the multiple personalitys (if it's only one player) were caused by the data drain (a side effect I suppose, or the phase data reacting strangely with her?) or the mental shock caused to the player created an extroverted version of herself as a defense mechanism so it wouldn't happen again.
