I'm assuming that Tri-Edge is either a Danse Macabre, or he has no class because he has a character design that, in this version of The World, is dead.

I'd say 'no class' is more likely, as he is the only character on the official site who's class isn't mentioned.

Yea im asumeing he has no class if any it would probly be Twin-Blade, A class that is dead now perfect for the title Ressurection.

We all know .hack isn't the greatest when they do voices but your forgetting that this game is japanse and the japanese ppl might have liked shugo alot like me so we don't really know what to expect since we are getting dubed crap >.>

If Tri-Edge turns out to be Shugo, then we lose the whole Kite VS. Wave repeating symbolism. It's like having Morti turn out to be Morganna. Kinda ruins the symbolism and meaning.

Also, I'm betting that Tri-Edge is No-Class. it's just so ".hack" I mean, if he has a class, everyone in a roleplay or fanfiction or whatever would want to be that class because it's special. Just like everyone in roleplays and fanfiction now want to be Wavemasters because the series made it seem overpowered because of Tsukasa.

I mean, Monsters with infinite HP, attacks that make people comatose, players that can't log out...I think Players without game stats is right up that alley.

(If Tri-Edge doesn't have a class, maybe he won't have ANY stats whatsoever, and his actions, skills, and so forth are limited by it's creativity or something.)

Shugo is an immature, unimportant character only used as an object of humour throughout the manga and [annoying] anime. Suggest Kite if you must, because he is a serious, decent character with an imporant role. Shugo will have no significance in G.U. whatsoever, because G.U. is a darker game. Enough said.

I don't think Shugo should be in G.U. If he do appear then maybe he'll just be the one who is getting beat everytime. Or he might turn out to be stronger than the anime version.

:/ I would like to see shugo again. . .they just better get a better voice for him and Rena if they do. I mean shugo is Aura's child hood friend I think we should see more of him not as a main part but at least mentioned and they did say its going to connect to the past series so maybe we can see Mr. Shugo again =D

It seems I made a slight mistake, due to misremembering Shugo's age. He'd be in his third and final year of high school at the time of GU.

. . .yea alot of ppl would not know that if they dont' study japanse life. They have to take special exams to see what highschool type they go to its a very stressful test most commit succide if they fail or before they take the test so they wouldn't bring shame to the family. Which makes it hard for the US ppl to guess what .hack is going to be like since we don't have the same life style as them and its based by there life. also if you look at .hack//unplugged in the back of Vol.3 of the manga you can see he is only like 12 or 13.
