Phases - Possibly Infecting Character Data?

it could be that they are hidding within the players but it would be weird to see them back in the forms that were in the first games. i like these new players looks. since none of them really talked we cant really determine wheather or not the phases will reappear as their old selves. they would just take over the bodies and rule as they are. it would be really mean to get shot with ovan gun tho lol

All I could understand at the end was "Skeith!!!" Perhaps the original phases were exactly like Haseo, players that got mutated, or whatever. Those who have played Quarantine (or looked at the Dvd data

) know that the phases were "created" by Morganna to observe human activity but maybe they were originally Fragment players who met the same fate as Haseo. No doubt the other "human phases" are going to turn into the "AI phases".
Of course, now that we know Haseo is/will be Skeith, that explains why he attacked "Shadow Kite". Skeith was the first phase Kite saw, he put Orca into a coma, data drained Aura, nearly drained Kite, and most importantly, his fall was shortly followed by the appearance of Cubia, who was a very major problem in Quarantine. The only phases that could more aggressive or closely related to Kite are Macha a.k.a. Mia, and the last one (whom I haven't quite fought yet...). No wonder Haseo attacked Shadow Kite!

But we KNOW these Phases are humans. Why would Haseo adopt the agenda of a computer program?

I didn't say that. I think it's just an interesting ironic plot twist the creator (whoever that blessed soul is) put in. Heck, for all we know Haseo could be taking orders (knowing or not) from Morganna (or if she was destroyed in Quarantine, what remains of her).

but how could a normal player with a human controling it just become an AI player? doesnt make sense anymore. if these players have the phases data in them how will the phases come out when a real person on the other end is control it.

Easy. The same way Macros can take control of your character in a real life MMORPG and run a scripted event. An example would be your character performing actions in a real time cutscene or following another character you locked onto. Not that hard.

Well, in online games like the World, hackers and cheaters use programs called Macros that can be used to make your character fight and level up and such when you're not there. A sort of autopilot. Now imagine that autopilot program has AI. There, you have a perfect imagery of Skeith taking control of Haseo's character.

I dont think it's much controlling the players, but making them stronger.

my opion ish that maybe there ish a little piece of morganna left in the game, and is starting over the 8 phases. choosing those who want revenge on the PKers that PK them...and starting the whole rebirth...! and kite is back from the aura, and hunting down the 8 phases again.
