“Got no money for breakfast honey…” Lucille muttered as she turned her head to the side, blowing the hair out of her face. “Oh… Sylvee… hey!” She stretched her out far, making sure to wiggle her toes. “How’d you sleep Sylvee?” Lucille asked, wiggling out from beneath him. “I need more clothes. At least sleeping ones…” She adjusted her dress and looked down reaching to pick her sword. She stashed it behind her back. “Morning Reid!” Lucille ran up and caught Reid in an embrace. “You made me breakfast, you’re so sweet.” Lucille blew her hair back from her eye and held it back with her hand. “Here’s a thank you gift.” A light peck on the cheek and she jumped on the couch to search for her headband. Rather, the headband she was leasing. She flipped half her bangs back and held them in place with the hairband. “Don’t need to in the way for an exam.”

The ball of blankets and Sylvester walked out into the common area and started eating. "Could have done with a few more hours. We can go down into town and hit up a clothing store after classes. And we can get you a headband of your own while we're at it, so you don't have to keep wearing that one." After scarfing the food down, and cleaning up, he changed back into his combat gear.

Reid: ( he becomes embarrassed as he backs up) ah! First thing in the morning really? yeah breakfast is ready on the table help your selves but we should get ready soon ( he takes blue ice dust crystals out of his bag as he places them in his pockets) allright I'm already... What about you guys? And hitting up the town sounds like a pretty good idea after this whole exam thing

“All day every day my sweet Reid.” Lucille smiles as she jumps off the couch and onto the floor in a spectacular manner. “Ta da! Oh Reid, you should have totally shared body heat with me, I’m super warm, right Sylvee?” She extends her arms and flutters her fingers giggling as she waves her body. “Yeah, a night on the town with two boys, I can hardly wait!” She bites her lip playfully, “Some clothes shopping would be awesome… now I need to find a way to make money… or access a bank.” She sighed, “Why can’t things just be free- Oh man! You think they have those neat toe socks in this place? Toe socks are awesome I hope. I really want toe socks. Reid! Reid! Reid! Reid! Me and you are gonna go sock shopping right?” Lucille eyes Reid’s dust crystals and sits at the table. “Breakfast and a date is so old school though.” She sighs playfully and eats her breakfast with her hands.

There was a knock on the door, "I'll get it." Sylvester said, and opened the door to reveal a beautiful white haired girl in very expensive designer clothes. "Ty-" Sylvester put a finger on her mouth silencing her before she could say anything else. He looked back at Reid and Lucille, "I'll see you two at the exam." The girl ducked her head in and waved, she had an arrogant smile on her face as she spied Lucille. Sylvester shut the door on his way out saying, "Mira, it's Sylvester not-"

After several minutes of heated discussion he got Mira to leave him alone, at least for a little while, Sylvester went to the exam site and decided to take a nap up in a tree while he waited.

Reid: yeah well maybe I'll share body heat with you another time...( he takes a second to relize what he just said as he turns red and finishes eating as he shakes the thought out of his head) anyway were gonna be late if we don't hurry. And sure after all this I'll go sock shopping or whatever...good thing it's not as cliche as just simply a breakfast it's "breakfast exam then date" ( he looks to see the girl) hey who was that?

“Oh so risqué Reid, I knew you thought I was cute.” Lucille giggles and smiles as she finishes her breakfast. “I’m glad you spice things up with a test in the middle Reid, makes me get all hot and bothered-” Lucille’s eyes focused on the girl, Mira Sylvester called her. The girl was way richer than Lucille could dream of being, and she met eyes. That grin pissed Lucille off, those clothes pissed Lucille off, that girl pissed Lucille off. “Reid! Let’s go the the exam!” Lucille shouted grabbing his wrist. “We’re gonna ask Sylvester who his little girlfriend is.” She orders as her hand pulls Reid out of his seat. She doesn’t bother to lock their door as she storms down the hall, Reid’s wrist in her deathgrip.

Reid: ( he smiles back right before he gets dragged out) hey wait Lucille I'm pissed too that cocky grin and obviously the fact that she's stuck up but we left our door open hey wait! ( after several minutes of dragging the two finally made it to the site) so this is it huh? It looks like we made it in time where'd Sylvester ( he looks up to we Sylvester) found him...

( the headmaster then arrives at the test site S the crowd grows silent)

Sylvester opens an eye at the mention of is name and walked to the edge of the branch to finally get a look at the headmaster. Well, he just assumed him to be a professor at this point, but once he started talking Sylvester would make the connection.

Lucille held Reid’s hand until the headmaster spoke, at which point she dropped his hand and looked around for Sylvester’s friend. “Where is she…” Lucille mumbled scanning the area for that girl’s snow-like white hair. She raised her thumbnail to her mouth, chewing it as she tapped and scanned. She didn’t care for the headmaster’s words. Fight to survive, that was the only real thing in this world. Objectives would become easy if there was no opposition.

Reid: ( he blushes slightly when he realizes lucille was still holding his hand but he relaxed once the head master spoke

Head master: for years you all have trained to become warriors today your abilities will be evaluated in the emerald forest

Blonde woman: now I'm sure many of you have heard the rumors about teams allow us to put an end to your confusion each and every one of you will be givin teammates today

Reid: what? Oh.....

Head master: these team mates will be with you're for your entire time here at ariadust it is in your best interest to be paired with someone you can work well

Reid....ummm

Headmaster: that being said first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next 4 years after you've partnered Up make your way to the northern end of the forest you will meet enemies along the way do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path or you will die...this is more then just a mere test you will find an abdomen temple at the end of the path containing several relics each pair must choose one and return back here at the top of the cliffs are their any questions? No? okay good ! Allright let the test begin! (One by one each student gets sent flying I to the forest from a springing platform)

Reid: wait no wait hold on I have a question!

Headmaster: good luck and try not to die and come back safely

Reid: listen to me! ( first their fourth roomate gets launched into the forest followed by Sylvester sent in the same direction as her as Lucille is launched off in a differentnare followed by Reid in the same area) this is insane! ( he can't help but slowly be overcome with excitement)

Sylvester shouted "Whooohoooooo!" As he sailed through the air. He jabbed the spear behind and below himself creating repeated explosions and giving himself even more airtime and acceleration. He grabbed his necklace and punched through the first tree he encountered, swung the spear around to chop through a second, threw his spear forwards blowing away a third tree in his way as he curled up into a ball to flip through the air and landed on all fours atop a fourth tree's branch. "I hope all exams are going to start like that." He yanked the spear out of the tree, twirled it around, and slid it back into his holster, and then reattached his cross. Sylvester's ears twitched this way and that and he sniffed at the air, he ran from tree to tree, tracking down the student who landed nearest himself whilst making his way towards the temple.

“Nothing but summer lovin’ my little Reid!” Lucille shouted as she was launched. She turned and bit her lip, realizing Sylvester was launched in a direction different than she. “Eye contact… that’s stupid.” Lucille mutters as she flies into the forest. “YAHOO!” She shouts before drawing a casting circle with the dust from her dress. White dust formed a circle around her body as she was to land. A mystic glow surrounded her and she levitated slowly before touching down gently on the ground of the forest. “Just slay stuff and get to the temple. Time for Lucille to really shine.” Lucille’s pupils narrowed as she ran for the temple, her hand on the hilt of her blade at all times as she ran through the forest, an uneventful run, not a monster in sight.

Reid: ( he manages to grab onto a branch as he swings off of it and he lands infront of a oncoming Lucille) I made it ( he turns around to see Lucille) oh man....hey wait Lucille we should slow down we don't know what's in this forest it's not like we're timed would you listen to me! If you were listening we also have to retrieve some sort of artifact ( from out of the forest emerges a group of monsters)....i should learn to keep my mouth shut ( he readies his boomerangs)

Beautiful girl: ( she manages to slice through a tree on her way down as she fires off several shots with her gun blade slowing her decent as she lands near Sylvester her gunblade then collapses into a folded up form as she sheaths it behind her back) okay...that was certainly an unexpected start ( she begins walking towards the temple as she spots Sylvester)

Sound like, ursas. Sylvester spotted the girl surrounded by a group of large bear like monsters shortly after having that thought. Yep, ursas. She's probably got this, but I'd hate to miss the fun. He pulled a black line from inside the back of his vest and hooked it onto the base of the spear. Line up a schmuck, reach way back, and assert yourself. Sylvester thought to himself as he lined up a spear throw at the farthest ursa, pulled his arm back, and chucked it. There was an explosion as the spear struck, knocking the beast out and he pounced onto the nearest ursa with a bone shattering blow to it's skull. "I hate to cut in, but you looked like you were having so much fun that I just couldn't help myself." Sylvester said with a mischievous grin as he held his hand out and the spear came flying back to him.

“Reid, boomerangs are long range, I want you to cover me, okay?” On Lucille’s hilt and around her ankles white Dust clouds formed casting circles. From her wrists, a red cloud of Dust formed a circle of flame. Lucille charged at breakneck speed through the horde of Beowolves. For brief instants, she appeared to stop before an enemy. Once she had ran through them Lucille sheathed her blade and turned to face Reid. Her hair drooped a little, but not enough to get in her eyes. Slashes of flame rose from her Iai strikes, and the beasts fell in their pieces. “Reid, I’ll take point, you cover me. So long as you can manage that.”

Lucille ran ahead, occasionally turning to face Reid. “Hey Reid, I’ve got enough for the both of us.” She cast a Dust cloud before Reid’s feet and her own. “Just so you know Reid, any competition is a race. Whoever gets there first wins. No doubt about it. Obtaining objectives is simple once the enemy faction is eliminated. Basic tactics. If we run right to the center, and draw in enemies, we’ll handle them and complete the mission in record time.” Lucille looked at Reid and flashed a smile before speeding off into the forest toward the temple at godspeed.

Reid: ( he whistles as he watches lucilles incredible display of swordmanship and dust as he grins at her statement) you obviously haven't seen the way I use boomerangs then! ( he throws his boomerangs as they slash a Beowulf across the chest as they fly about hitting the enemies as the knuckles of his arm bracers open up he takes several crystals out of his pocket as he throws them into the air as he catches his one boomerang and throws it right back as he punches twines catching the crystals in his arm bracers as they lock into them he runs and smashes a Beowolf hard in the face as cold air and I e blasts out of his fists as he follows after Lucille) you know what your right what do you say we beat Sylvester to the end?


Girl: I cold of handled that but thanks regardless ( she draws her gun blade in gun form which is a revolver by tigger then a normal revolver as she shoots two shots past Sylvester nailing a grim in the head as she sheaths Ed weapon looks like we're partners now huh?

“Atta boy Reid! Who needs back up, we’ll both take point eh?” She smiled and rushes to the temple. Once there she looks around for any traps. In front of her she sees pillars with different chess pieces on them. “Let’s be knights Reid!” Lucille dashes forward, and once she acquires a white knight piece she turns and smiles. “Looks like we beat everyone here. Now where is the next place to go? I’m looking forward to whooping Sylvee’s butt.” Lucille twirls around and wiggles her toes on the hard temple ground. “The floor here is too cold, my feet are not liking this. No matter how warm the fire in my belly is, my feet aren’t always that warm…” She grins a toothy smile before closing the gap between Reid and herself. “I dig how you used your Dust, how’s your Aura handling though?” She asks softly, curious. “My Aura is decent to say the least, but I’m so used to dust I only use Aura when I got no dust. Or for healing.”

"Looks like." Sylvester jumped down onto the last ursa, jammed the spear into it's back, and leveraged it to give the girl a chance to finish it. Something he thought maybe he shouldn't have done when the blade of her gun-blade came out it's back not that much higher than his head. "Yeesh, that was close." He said as he let it fall and put his spear back. "Name's Sylvester by the way." He said and offered to shake her hand.

Reid: ( he looks at the chess piece) this is what we came for? Seriously? ( he looks at Lucille and laughs) if your feet at so cold maybe out should wear "foot prisons was it?" my Aura? it's okay I guess I never really thought about using my Aura soo who knows?..anyway I think now that we have the artifact if this is it? I think we need to find our way back to the cliffs we should take a moment to figure out where we are first?


---- deep in the forest---

Boy: this is ridiculous! ( he dives out of the way of an oncoming giant snake) grins even look like is huh? ( he readies twin short swords) come and get me!

Girl: watch out! ( she draws a large hammer type of weapon as she slams it down hard into the snake)

Girl: Karin ( she sheaths her blade as she smiles at Sylvester ) its nice to meet you shall we get going? I don't think it's a good idea of we stay in the one spot for too long here
