Canceled Projects

As the title says, projects that have been cancelled/cut off due to x or y reasons, this may not have any answers but I felt I had to give it a try, I really don't like introductions so I'll jump to the point.

Don't you just hate when some company makes a game, that game becomes popular, then they release another and another and when the series reach the top the company disbands/stops working on it or just gets tired of it and leaves it unfinished? Well I do, let's discuss for a while "Why did they stop?" And "Will they ever continue it" or "Are there any possibilities they make another release?" Well I'm speaking not only for //link's US release(ha!) But also more games that were just left... unfinished, or just that they should finish the job and release the game on another platform...

Do you know any games like this? For example the only one that comes to my mind atm is Okami, that-- imo SHOULD have a PSP/Vita/PS3 release, I think that it should've been awesome . . . Too bad the company disbanded, but there's still one company with the rights for it: Capcom

Speaking of Capcom and cancelled projects, Megaman comes to mind as they've cancelled the last two games @.@

Initially Capcom blamed the fans for being involved too much (via Devrooms) then changed their minds and said they didn't support enough in regards to MML3. Though the fans have showed their support via the 100K for Bringing back MML3 campaigns and the fan game (distributed free online by Capcom) Street Fighter x Megaman getting over 1 million downloads which atleast showed Capcom there is plenty of fans out there still interested in Megaman.

I'm still waiting for The Last Guardian, if it's ever gonna be released before the PS5 or so 8C And i would've said the same about Final Fantasy Versus XIII, but that one is finally being released as Final Fantasy XV, so yay o3o ...I guess, as long as there aren't any crazy delays on that one too -3-;;

And somewhat related: Devil May Cry. Even if DmC is actually a great game with more good than bad features, i don't think i'll ever approve of such reboot. In a way, it's like they "cancelled" Devil May Cry, not giving a clear answer to the whole Vergil/Nero thing (it's obvious they're father/son...but that will just forever remain as an unproved theory), and not even finishing that manga thing about Dante and Vergil's past and all. And let's admit it, the new DmC will never, NEVER be as good as the original Devil May Cry. I don't remember the full reasons for the reboot (just that it had to do with the development team and they preferred to give it to someone else rather than drop it entirely), but DMC would've continued to be as awesome and loved by everyone if they had managed to continue the series and follow up the story without a reboot like that.

Btw, i just remembered there's .Hack//Versus... Do you know if it will be translated? or it is already translated? I don't want it to be the same as //Link... To have it 4 Years later and a random fanclub is still working to translate it so other non-japanese people can play it...

Aaaaand talking about non-japanese people**: I heard there'll be a release of gods eater?(i mean, another after Burst) Although i have checked and no projects come to light, i just wanted to know if any of you has heard/seen anything about it... Yeah i'd like to see another Monster Hunterrr i mean Gods Eater haha

[** It just came to my mind because the ad-hoc system is hated by 80% of the non-japanese people i've seen on forums... So uhh non-japanese people reminds me of ad-hoc... and thus reminds me of gods eater... Yeah i know, my mind works in a strange way nor even i can understand)
