Dotus Online! VRRPG

The year is 2XXX, and many online games have gone virtual reality. Among them was Dotus, a game that has become so popular in the past few years that it is now in the top ten most popular VRMMOs. Players from all around the world enjoy the features this nearly perfect virtual world has to offer. A 99% reality system is but one feature in the game, where everything can be felt in the world, from the softest breeze to the heaviest strike. Another feature is that the world is fully interactive, and changes through actions made by the players. And finally, the players can quite literally do anything they want in the world of Dotus, but to protect the world and keep players from going out of control, some players have volunteered to become police officers and watch out for cheaters, excessive player killers, and hackers.

It was the second day of Dennis's summer vacation, and he was finally going to try out Dotus Online for the first time since his brother told him about it a year ago. Once he was hooked up to the VRC (Virtual Reality Computer), Dennis found himself standing if front of an ordinary door in a black void. "Well this was worth the three hours of waiting for the game to download," he thought as he approached and opened the door. What was on the other side was something Dennis was not expecting, a floating stone pathway leading to the entrance of some old ruins. Aw struck, Dennis didn't notice that after he entered the 'room', the door behind him vanished. "Wow, I know there are tons of games that have you exploring some kind of ruins, but still, this is impressive." Dennis made his way down the pathway until he reached the entrance, which was a large stone door with writing on it that read, 'Before you can enter the World of Twelve, you must first choose your class.' "I was wondering when I would get to that part," said Dennis rolling his eyes. Just then, a voice from behind Dennis spoke, "Choose your class." Dennis spun around quickly in freight to find the origin of the voice, and what he found was a large eagleman. "O-okay. Jeez, nearly gave me a heart attack."

The Eagleman held out his feathery hand and twelve hologram images of the games classes. "Touch one of the images once to read its description. Once you have chosen you class, speak its name followed by the in-game name you wish to go by." Dennis studied each of the different classes, thought about his preferred fighting style in other games, "Hmm I think I'll go with the Sadida's Boots, and I shall be known as Mighty Geppetto." "Now then Mighty Geppetto, please select you class's appearance," said the Eagleman as a mirror materialized in front of Dennis. After ten minutes of testing colors and outfits, Dennis had final chosen his look and was ready to begin. "Now that you are ready Mighty Geppetto, enter the temple to begin your tutorial." And with that, the Eagleman vanished in a rush of wind and feathers. Dennis watched as he left and said, "Thanks... nice talking to you too," before turning to enter the now opened ruin doors.

Once inside Dennis, now in Sadida form, had to walk down a long hallway before coming to a small room. The only thing in the room was a statue of the Eagleman. "Sigh, well I can only guess where the next voice will come from." Said Dennis staring at the statue waiting for the Eagleman to speak. "DO you wish to take the tutorial?" asked a female voice that startled Dennis since it didn't come from the statue. "Um... well to be honest, no. I'd rather learn from experience." said Dennis now standing in the center of the room. "Are you sure you wish to skip the tutorial?" "Yes." The room was now filled with silents. "Um hello? Is something suppose to happen now?" Dennis asked the voice. Before he could say more, the sound of grinding rocks could be heard from behind Dennis. "What tha? You, so are you going to get me out of here?" said Dennis turning to the moving stone Eagleman. The Eagleman statue began walking toward the other end of the room to what looked like a lever. When the statue finally reached the lever and pulled it, the floor beneath Dennis began to glow, and in seconds, he was gone, teleported to the World of Dotus.

When the teleportation ended, Dennis found himself in the middle of a very busy town full of other player. Every few seconds, people, with aw struck looks, would appear around Dennis notifying him that this was the spawn point for noobs. "I-I'd better get out of the way." Dennis said to himself as he began to wonder through the town. As Dennis began his walk, he saw players of all the different classes performing all kinds of jobs: some players had taken the place of NPCs, by selling there own wares and produce to anyone interested, there were so many other players performing different activities like fishing and running errands, and at one point, he saw two players arrest another for stealing. There was so many things going on at once, that Dennis didn't notice that he was being followed. It wasn't until he stopped to rest, that Dennis's pursuer made his move. "I thought that was you back at the spawn point." Dennis screamed and jumped from away from the unknown player, but when he saw who it was, his fear was quickly replaced by annoyance as he said, "Oh, it's you. I forgot that I was suppose to meet you back there." "Oh, it's you? Is that all you have to say to your older brother? If your going to act like that to people, you definitely wont make a lot of friends in this game. Anyway, what's up with you character name? Mighty Geppetto sounds like some old dance craze. Lets all do the Mighty Geppetto everybody!"

Dennis didn't answer right away, he was to busy staring down his brother's character named Chaos Cat. He was an black furred, red eyed, Ecaflip adorned in high level earth-based gear with Nomoon pet sitting on his shoulder. "Hey are you listening?" asked his brother, a little concerned about Dennis's silence. Being shaken from his trance, Dennis asked a question, "Um Terrence, what level are you?" "Whoa whoa whoa, first of all, you don't call me Terrence here, I have a rep to protect, and second don't give your real name out either. There is a reason we have screen names you know. Now, to answer your question, I'm level 106." Dennis was gasp a little and said, "Wow , you must have been playing for quite some time." "Yeah, well I don't think I've spent that much time. I mean I've only been playing for three years, but now on to business. I can tell by you lack of gear that you skipped the tutorial. You really should have gone through that to get some starting armor and weapons. Lucky for you, I expected as much from you and went head and got you a twiggy staff and the Yellow Piwi set. I would have gotten you the Young Adventurer's set, but I think you should earn that one. Here." Terrence traded Dennis the set and instructed him on how to equip it.

"Now that you look like an experienced noob, lets go find you a monster to fight." said Terrence, putting his arm over his brother's shoulder and leading him toward the end of town.

As the two neared the north entrance into Astrub, Terrence halted Dennis and said, "Oh thats right, we forgot to pick up your first quest. Hmm (looks around then spots an NPC) You see that kid over there? He should have a green exclamation mark above his head. Go talk to him. If nothing happens then mention something about looking for work or if there is anything you can help him with." Dennis nodded and made his way to the child, but as he neared the NPC, it instead ran to him. "Mister, could you help me? It's my mom's birthday tomorrow and I wanted to give her a necklace made with tofu feathers since yellow is her favorite color. But sadly, when I made my first attempt at getting the feathers, the tofus were too strong, so could you get some for me? I'm even willing to pay you for your troubles." the young boy said holding out a few kammas. Dennis' eyes were a little watery from the kid's story,and said "Yes, I'll get you those feathers, but you don't have to pay me." With that said, Dennis heard a small chime followed by the appearance of a transparent screen that was his quest list. At the very top, flashed a quest entitled 'Feathers for my mommy'.

Once the title stopped flashing, and Dennis understood what the screen was for, he tapped on the title and a smaller screen appeared containing details of the quest. "Collect ten tofu feathers and return them to Kenny." was all it said. Once Dennis understood, he closed both screens and returned to his brother. "So what does it say to do?" Terrence asked as they began walking toward the city exit. "I have to collect ten tofu feathers. Are they tough?" Dennis asked, not knowing much about the game. Terrence nearly laughed at his younger brother's question, but managed to say, "Are you kidding, this is your first quest. It's not like Ankama would make it where you could get a quest asking you to kill something like a crackler at level one. Harder quest open up only after you've gotten stronger, you should know that."

Once the two were outside the city, Terrence lead Dennis to an area near Astrub where the tofus show up. Not long after arriving did the two spot a lone tofu flying through the air. "There's one, and I don't see any other players nearby so it's free game. I want you to summon you weapon attack it." said Terrence. Dennis hesitated then asked, "Umm, how do I summon my weapon?" Terrence slapped his forehead frustration before answering "Just think the name of your weapon and it should appear in you right hand. To make it disappear, just release you grip." Dennis performed as instructed, and within a second, Dennis's Twiggy Staff materialized in his hand. "I did it Terre-I mean Chaos,I did it... now what do I do?" Terrence was seconds away from just kicking Dennis and telling him to figure it out... and he did. Lifting Dennis by the back of his vest collar and the back of his shorts, Terrence then heaved his poor brother at the little yellow bird while exclaiming, "Figure it out!"

Dennis landed with a thud in front of the tofu, which frightened it and caused it to attack. Almost instantly, Dennis was bombarded with attack quickly draining his life points, Dennis curled up into a fetal position just to defend himself. "Sigh, don't just sit there, its a little bird. Get up and whack it with your staff!" couched Terrence from the sidelines. Each attack was like a light punch to Dennis, but because he was not one for fighting, the hits felt much harder then that. It took all of Dennis's strength to get up and run. Heaving heavily from behind a tree, he thought, "Th- that was not what I was expecting from such a small creature. Is every hit I receive going to feel like that? I-I don't think I can take-" Dennis's thoughts were cut short as the tofu found him and started to attack again. Dennis panicked and began to run, feeling his life points drop with each attack. It wasn't until Terrence stepped from behind a tree and into Dennis's way did he stop, "Dennis, this, is ,humiliating. Your running from a normal tofu, one of the weakest monsters in the game. Turn around and face it like a man!"

Dennis turned as instructed, but still was at a loss as more attacks came, until finally Terrence ended the fight with a Heads or Tails attack before Dennis lost all of his life points. After the cards hit their mark, the tofu dropped to the ground and vanished in a small flash, in its place was a few feathers, a beak, and some eggs. "Dennis, I know your not much of a fighter, but come on, that was a tofu. A few hits with your staff or spells and it would have dropped." Terrence scolded while Dennis sat down to catch his breath, tears welling up in his eyes from the pain and humiliation. When Terrence noticed, he responded, "Oh god, now your crying? Dennis your fifteen, grow up. Even if the attacks hurt, it's just a game, so there is no lasting damage... Sigh, here," Terrence opened his inventory, and selected an item. Wheat bread materialized in the palm of his right hand, and he handed it to Dennis, "Eat it, it will recover you life." Dennis stared at it for a moment before taking it then took a bite. "Wow, I-I can actually taste it!" he said in shock. Terrence smiled a little before answering, "Well the game was designed to be as close to life as virtually possible, which is quite far apparently.Anyway that bread your eating was baked by me, although if I tried to bake real bread I would probably burn it, hehehe."

Once Dennis finished eating, he felt all of his energy return and felt ready to give fighting another go. "Next time, don't wimp out. I'm the leader of a guild and if my members knew you were my brother, my reputation would be ruined." Terrence said jokingly. The two once again, began their search for tofus to fight.

It didn't take long for Dennis and Terrence to find another lone tofu, and this time, Dennis was a little more prepared. "Okay, so you know what to expect, right?" asked Terrence as Dennis stood ready with his weapon drawn. He nodded, but quickly realized one something; Terrence never taught him how to use spells. "Terr-Chaos, you forgot to teach me how to use spells. I saw you use that weird card attack last time, but you never told me how you did that." said Dennis not realizing his voice attracted the attention of the tofu. Terrence smacked his forehead at this realization, and was about to give Dennis instructions when he noticed the tofu sneaking up on Dennis, "You know, you’re right, I did forget, but I also forgot to tell you that some enemies can hear you and will take the initiative by sneaking up on you." Terrence then points to the tofu, and Dennis turned around in time to receive a kiss of tofu to the face, causing him to fall backwards. "Ahh, what the hell!" exclaimed Dennis as he quickly got to his feet and start running.

Terrence sighed, and was about to tell Dennis how to use his spells, when a voice could be heard in his right ear, "Wow, Kray had to leave.. So we're stuck in the final room of 'BR'. What are you all doing?" It was Caps. Forgetting his brother's peril for the moment, Terrence answered, "I'm introducing my brother to this game. He's pretty nooby though. He couldn't even kill a tofu! Hahaha!" Dennis ran by and over heard Terrence, then for a moment stopped and turned to him and said, "Stop making fun of me," before getting hit by the tofu again and running for cover. Terrence realized he should do something before his brother gets killed by the tofu and ended the conversation.

With his focus back on Dennis, Terrence said, " Dennis, turn and focus on the tofu. Then slam your palm on the ground and say Bramble." Dennis was about to ask what that would do, but another strike to from the tofu made him throw think, "What the hell." then turned and followed the Terrence's instructions. "Bramble!" Dennis exclaimed as a large thorny vine quickly burst from the ground and swatted the small tofu down to the ground. The hit wasn't enough to kill it, but thanks to the Yellow Piwi gear he wore, the damage left the bird seriously weakened. "Finish it!" Terrence ordered. Dennis approached the downed bird and took one look at its weaken state and said, "I-I can't kill it. It looks to cute to kill." "Dennis, this is a game. Creatures like that are not really alive they just have artificial intelligence them make them seem real. Killing them won't make you a bad person anyway because thats what you're suppose to do. Now make it quick or else it will attack you again." When Dennis joined they game, he didn't think that he would have to kill small cute creatures, but then he thought back to the console games he played and remember a number of them had him kill small creatures. Only difference with this was the fact they the small animals seem more real this time, but realizing this Dennis thought, "Its just a game," over and over as he took a deep breath and brought down his staff. The tofu let out one final cry of pain before falling silent and vanishing in a small flash of light. In it's place was a single tofu feather.

"Congratulations Dennis. You finally made your first of many kills. Now pick up the feather so it can be placed into your inventory." Dennis followed what Terrence said, and when he picked up the tofu feather, it quickly vanished. When Dennis pulled up his inventory, he saw the single feather in one of the slots. Once the screen was closed, Terrence said to Dennis, "Lets go find more and finish this quest. It feels like its been days since we started."

After about an hour of fighting tofus and forcing him self to silence the small birds, Dennis finally managed to gather 10 tofu feathers, thus completing his quest. In the process, Dennis manged to gain a level and, once instructed about the points system, put his points toward his strength and powered up bramble. Dennis also took the time to read up on the other skills he could use and learned how to use them more effectively in his fights with the tofus. Once the two felt there was no other reason to stick around in the outskirts of Astrub, they made their way back to Kenny to deliver the feathers.

"Thank you sir. My mother will be so happy tomorrow." With that, the boy ran inside a nearby house that must have been his house. Once he was gone, Dennis's quest log popped up in front of him with the quest's title flashing for a few moments for stopping with a clear marker next to the name. "So what do we do now, Chaos?" Dennis asked as they began walking back into the city. Terrence was preoccupied with staring at a female Ecaflip with clothing that left nothing to the imagination. When Dennis made a second attempt at drawing Terrence's attention, he succeeded. "What do you mean, what should we do next? I have a guild to run and training to do, I can't hold your hand the whole way though this game. I've already taught you the basics, now its up to you to discover everything else there is to do. Besides, I just remembered I have a date with Carly. She was pretty pissed when I was late last time because I was playing this game." "Carly, I thought she broke up with you?" said Dennis, but Terrence said, "What?! What made you think we broke up?" "Because the last time I saw you with her, she said, and I quote, 'We are through Terrence. I never want to see again.' " answered Dennis with a smug look on his face. Terrence countered, "Yeah well, it was my fault for making her mad during her time of the month, BUT I've been taking extra precaution to a sure not to make the same mistakes twice... Oh, look at the time, I've got to go Dennis. I'll be on tomorrow. See ya!" Terrence dashed off to take care of somethings before logging off, thus leaving Dennis standing in the middle of the city with nothing to do.

"Sigh, I guess I'll go look for another quest." Dennis said as he continued his walk through the city.

{haseo was going to see if there's a new weapon quest when he bumped with mighty geppeto} ugh!, hey watch out! this could be a game but you need to be cautious {haseo had gone to the quest shop and see that there's another quest, but this one give him: spiked armor, rolling scythe} hmmmm i think i will pick this one {he have to kill 50 Jumping Bambinos for the armor and 20 killing hands} uh ok i will do it {when in the area} well theres 3 from the 2 {haseo make's Cutting Tornado and the enemies get's almost eliminated} ok this is it {he slashes them twice} ok now let's go for more {he uses the same tactic for all, then he returned to the city} well let's go for the quest shop {he gained spiked armor and rolling scythe} hmph this is...... it is them..... this is the long waited armor and weapon.... hmph i supose i will go to the center and wait for a newbie to appear OR a PK

"Oh..ahh. My names Trask" she smiled a little.

Dennis:hmm...i'd rather not get wet but....if its virtual reality i wanna know what it'd be like at least...

Nice to meet you trask, so i see you are new here so... call me anytime you need help or send me a private message ok? {Haseo gives his member adress to Trask} well, let's explore the city {Haseo take Trask to a few places and shops to buy her some things when it started raining} hey it's raining aready?, so it must be now....... i have to go to that quest shop to obtain extra EXP hey Trask do you want to level up?

In the course of three hours in the game, Dennis managed to complete three quest resulting in his rain of 2 levels. By the time he finished his last quest, the sky was getting cloudy, and Dennis didn't want to find out what his hair/face smelt like once it was wet; so he set to look a place to wait out the rain, and managed to find an Inn. Once inside a female Feca player, earning money as a waitress, greeted Dennis as he entered, "Hello and welcome to Astrub Inn. Can I get you anything, sugar?" "U-um no, I'm just here to get out of the rain." Dennis said. The waitress just smiled and said, "Okay, just give me a shout if you need anything sugar." With that, she gave a wink and left to attend to some others players. Dennis took a seat at an empty table and began looking through his inventory. Adjacent to Dennis's table was another occupied by two players talking, one was an Iop while the other was a Sadida with lighter skin and a different hair color.

The Iop: "Hey did you hear?"
The Sadida: "Hear about what?"
Iop: "What do you mean 'hear about what?' How could you not have heard it?"
Sadida: "Dude, I've only just started playing this game, so cut me some slack, okay? Now tell me what YOU heard."
Iop: "Well I heard a rumor the Nosuda been seen near this area."
Sadida: "... Who's Nosuda?"
Iop: "Dude, have you been dead for the past decade?! Nosuda is like... the god of all hackers! He is a legend in every VRMMO. In every game he plays in, he makes himself the most powerful force that not even the MODs can delete! Nosuda even gives his characters powers that defy the games logic. So with that kind of rep, how could you not have heard of him?"
Sadida: "Maybe because I was never into these VRMMOs before, until you begged me to join you in this one... So if the guy is so great, why does he still play these games?"
Iop: "Because he has taken it upon himself to rid the VRMMO games of hackers that just want to cause problems for other players. Thats what sets him apart from other hackers. He uses his skills to make the games safe and fair."
Sadida: "Wow, really? Well if he's been sighted, then that can't be a good thing right?"
Iop: "Well normally yes, but people get so excited to hear about him because they want to see what kind of cheats he's given himself. I even heard he had a skill that could delete monsters and players, but when he deletes players, he deletes their online accounts and locks them out of the game so they can't come back and try to hack the game again."
Sadida: "Is that even possible?"
Iop: "I don't know but I did say he had skills that defy game logic. Maybe he's just that good of a hacker."
Sadida: "Yeah, well I still don't like the idea that a hacker like that is showing up. Who knows what that could mean in this game... Oh?! I've got to log off, mom's calling me down for dinner. See ya later."(Logs out)
Iop: "Well I guess I'll go do some more training before I log off."

Dennis had been listening to the two players with interest. "Wow, a hacker powerful enough to delete other players at will. That seems both cool... and a little scary. But if he's just going around deleting only bad hackers then I guess there is no real reason to fear him... right?" Dennis asked himself.

The rain only lasted for about thirty minuets before dying down to a light drizzle, and Dennis took this chance to go out and do some exploring.

It takes a true leader to throw something away. Ashtad happened to dislike throwing away capable members. That is one reason they had the strange courtroom in for special use. It was a meeting room, but it was considered the court room. Currently, the second in command was making an argument about the current issues in the group. Many members were asking for at least ten thousand more than the actual fee. All to pocket more money for themselves.

"Currently, at least five clients have refused us for the high fees. If it continues, Aella may be taken down for taking advantage of players with low levels." Ashtad remained in the back, a judge character taking a look at the facts.

Dennis had been wondering around the northern woods above Astrub for several hours fighting what ever creatures he felt he could take on himself. He didn't feel as guilty about killing the monster this time around because he felt they just weren't cute or cuddly anymore, although Dennis though if his brother heard him say that, Terrence would smack him one for sounding so emasculate. Even Dennis hated himself a little for realizing this, but soon brushed it off when he noticed it was getting late.

"Okay, just one more prespic and I'll log off." Dennis said as he continued to his search for the elusive creature. On this in-game night, the moon was full and eased Dennis's search, but at the same time, the night hid and even greater threat. It had been following Dennis for the past hours as he walked deeper into the forest. Stalking Dennis with one intention, to kill any players it felt was a threat.

Dennis was moments away from giving up his search, and the night time scenery was starting to frighten Dennis as he was not a big fan of the dark. He knew about the prespic's ability to turn inviable but he thought they only did that in self defense. He decided to head back to the city when he heard twig snap. Dennis jumped a little as the sound came from behind some nearby bushes, but he quickly though it might be a prespic and drew his weapon. "I finally found you, you little porcupine ferret." he said as he used his bramble attack in the direction of the noise. When it struck, Dennis heard the all to familiar noise of a prespic crying in pain just before it dashed out from behind the bushes in the direction opposite of Dennis. He was familiar with its strategy, and was able to keep up with it while avoiding most of its attacks while giving chase through the moonlit forest.

With one finally well timed Bramble spell, the prespic was defeated and Dennis finally rose to level 8. He loved the feeling of leveling as it gave him a feeling of rejuvenation, but as Dennis went about setting his points, his stalker took this chance to strike. With a silent but quick approach, the stalker was on Dennis just as he finished his distribution. Before Dennis knew it, and with his character stats screen still in front of his face as he feel to the ground, his life had dropped to near death.

Dennis was so shocked by the pain that he didn't move at first as the unknown monster made its approach to finish off its pray. Just before the creature could strike again, Dennis's adrenalin kicked in and ,with siring pain running through his back, rolled out of the way. He then quickly staggered to his feet as he got his first look at what attacked him. It was miliboowolf, but something wasn't right about it. Parts of it were missing: an elbow, a claw, a chunk of its face, and the parts that weren't missing were either the wrong color or just replace by snow. Dennis mind went blank as he saw this horrific sight and could bring himself to log out.

The creature drew closer to the stunned Dennis, and raised its claw ready to strike. Dennis closed his eyes and prepared for the life ending strike he thought was coming, but instead of feeling the claws tearing into his virtual flesh, Dennis heard clank sound. When he opened his eyes, Dennis saw an unusual looking plays blocking the miliboowolf's attack with a unique looking sword. This player looked like a white haired Iop dressed in a full white armor with gold borders, and with a matching white cape that seemed to glow in the moonlight. His sword was made up of pure white crystals supposedly held together by a red, glowing sphere. The player gave Dennis a quick glance relieving his red eyes that seemed to glow, and said, "What are you doing just standing there, MOVE!" Dennis heard the player and quickly moved to what he thought was a safe distance, and turned to see the battle between tis mysterious player and weird looking monster.

The play stepped to the side, easily avoiding the claw swipe. Then jumping a small distance back, the player exclaimed, "Delete!" then held his sword out. The crystals quickly dispersed, leaving the red orb floating in the player's hand, and zipped around the miliboowolf for a few seconds before halting in midair. The miliboowolf tried to renew its attack, but just before it could move, the crystals pierced the beast from all angles. For a second, the miliboowolf just paused for a moment before the crystals began to glow and the Miliboowolf's skin was turned into 1s and 0s; then vanished in a bright flash. The crystals returned quickly and too the shape of a bow with the red orb in the center and a red light as the bow string.

Dennis was in aw as he approached the white armored player. At the distance Dennis was standing from him, he could feel an odd air about player, and looking into his red eyes only seemed to scare Dennis; but after taking a deep breath, Dennis managed to ask, "A-are you Nosuda, t-the hacker god?" Nosuda said, "The is a title you players have given me. I am simply trying to make these games safe for people to play." He turned and started to walk away, when Dennis ran after him and said, "Wait, I want to say thank you for saving me, as well as ask you a few questions." "I wasn't saving you. I've heard from my informants about corrupted monsters appearing lately, and this was one of the areas they were sighted in." he said. "Oh..." said Dennis, crestfallen,"Um... what was that thing?" "The failed result of a monster hack. Someone must have been trying to create a whole new monster from the miliboowolf and ended up corrupting its data. I normally I leave things like this to the MODs, but lucky for you, I decided to do some cleaning." Nosuda said before walking past Dennis. A short distance from where the two were talking, a door shaped portal appeared in a flash. Nosuda walked through the portal and was gone in another flash, leaving Dennis alone in the moonlit forest, still under the effects of Nosuda's intimidating stare.

After a silent moment, Dennis regained his senses and logged out.

Ashtad approached her second in command, a sacreir with blue hair. The male looked a bit preoccupied, sitting in what looked to be like a small tavern. "It's been awhile since you've been here, Ashtad." He commented, noting how everyone stared at her. She sat down at the table, watching him drink the cheapest drink available. He was paying, so it had to be either milk or a cheap alcohol.

"Is there something you need, Iason?" She spoke softly, almost inaudible.

"Yes, there's a client that needs our help. Unfortunately, he's not a newbie."

"Unfortunate?" He pulled out what looked to be a guild file. It was a rather strong PKK in the police. Rumor had it that he was going to tell everyone outside the police what was going on. There as a secret theory that it was something very similar natural selection.

"Who's after him?"

"A friend who apparently knows someone higher up. We might not be able to take up this assignment." One of Ashtad's gloved hands touched her hand. "I doubt we could even defend someone that high up."

"Perhaps. Arrange a meeting."

"Offline or online?"

"We can't protect him offline." Ashtad spoke, noting they had been in whisper mode. A higher up after an experienced player. She decided it best to do some shopping, both information and restock wise. She exited the strange tavern, heading towards the closest healing shop.
