Well, you have a point.
Still, that doesn't prove the new Pokemon are uncreative and shitty. It just proves the creators have poor planning.
They should have saved Arceus for the last and final game. I think that would have been more effective story-wise..as if there's even a major storyline between all the games, anyway @w@

I don't think it's gotten there yet. I'm pretty sure the creators will know when to stop...hopefully.

I seriously hope you're right. I mean, considering the span of time between DPPt and BW, seven years might produce one or two new generations, and I'd also honestly like to see what they make of this series for this new 3DS system.

But seriously. As much as I love Pokemon, and as much as I'll defend this new gen., I'm going to start attacking people if I see new Pokemon games coming out when I'm forty years old. I can't even imagine how ridiculous the Pokemon would be by then.

OMG I CHOOSE YOU, BAG-OF-SAWDUST POKEMON!
Yeah no.

Thinking about it, they've established that not every region is exotic in terms of Pokemon. They've been to the north and/or south pole a couple of times in the anime, and probably other places. In the Mewtwo radio drama I think they cited South America as where they found Mew. Even though it's not canon, the point is it was very far away.

There are plenty of Pokemon considered gods by the pokepeople, and some that aren't who probably should be. Arceus isn't even the newest anymore...

I wouldn't really look to the anime for facts that apply to the game world when the two are so different; however, if you that information into consideration, then the games are only exploring regions with new and exotic Pokemon.
Like, the series Pokemon might even be set in our world, but we're not going to go to, say, Sweden, because they have Pokemon from Johto and Hoenn...or something. It could even be set in a bigger world, but not every region and/or country is going to have a game assigned to it.

Either way, I really don't think the creators meant for the series to be so deeply analyzed. I find it hard to believe they'll ever come out and say "oh hey such and such a region belongs to this and that country!"

Well, I think Arceus is the only god Pokemon that is believed to actually have "created everything".

They anime expands on a lot on the world of the games, but I don't think it tends to directly contradict it that often... If anything a lot of the different ideas tend to go back and cross-pollinate with the games...

Yeah, I really have no idea, it was just an observation.

Well, thought to, and even if that's true it created other Pokemon who can also create other dimensions and/or overtake it, so it's more like, say, Uranus or something, than "God." I mean:

In the game, Arceus can be potentially be defeated by, like, a persistent team of lv. 100 Squirtles.

In the anime, it's established that Dialga, Celebi, and any two-bit time travel Pokemon can change the past and alter Arceus in the present.
