Interesting theories in all. The broken bracelet theory is really catching on and for very good reasons. I believe it to be the most likely theory as well.

Wiseman, you're not the only one. I know some other people from England who are big .hack fans too.

Broken Bracelet theory?... everything I said about Kite turning dark due to reality, Haseo being Sora... those are theories but "Tri-Edge" having a broken Bracelet isn't a theory, it's a fact, look to the trailer. It's broken in the same area as when BlackRose broke Kite's. I'm not saying that makes it the same Bracelet but it obviously has a connection.

Sorry if I confused you, but the whole general idea of Tri-Edge being the old Kite avatar (as opposed to simply a copy) is what I meant.

</worship Souten-sama> Now that that's out of the way, I'd just like to comment that Kite becoming a vigilante elitest holier-than-thou person seems out of character for him, and the "purification" seems kinda pointless unless Kite goes nuts and Data Drains himself to be in the World 24/7, but I doubt it.

I said this in another thread, but oh well. Cubia was created by the Bracelet's negative data, right? So the Bracelet is already capable of making a rudimentry AI. What would happen if Kite got a System Error? It never shows us. I figured that this AIDA thing would be created, corrupt Kite's character and the Bracelet, take it over, go on a killing spree, and Kite will probably go comatose like Orca did for some bitter irony. Either that or AIDA/Tri-Edge is the product of Cubia's pregnancy or something. Ew.

That's why I said it was a more of a fan fic like idea story thing then a theory. I'm sure that won't happen but I just wanted to share that story idea.

I just guessed that it was his avatar, but it was mutated and such... the world growing on its own and becoming evil, like his avatar... and something about his bracelet being dangerous too, infecting his character... or like Subaru, Sora, and Tsukasa in the games, like an AI left in his place, but it mutated and has the power of the bracelet too...

Ya.. that's how I am. I shall sit and wait for the game. I'm not into theories or trying to figure it all out, like with Kingdom Hearts 2... everyone wants to know who the Blonde Kid is... what the plot is.. who the new Order members are... why don't they just wait, I don't see the fun in wanting to know the answers first.

I knew how .hack the PS2 games were going to end... I knew how SIGN was going to end WAY before the end... and it kind of ruined it. If I hadn't seen what Maha or Corbenik looked like 5 months before I played the game, I would have been "WOW" but no.. I was mildly amazed.

The only thing I try to do is keep people on track with the facts and that's why I brought up the fact "Tri-Edge's" Bracelet has the same missing part..

As for why I put quotes around Tri-Edge, I personally doubt that's his name as in avatar/title/real life name. I feel it's what people call him. Such as, if you're attacked by a person you don't know, you might say "The man with the long hair" or "One with the jagged knife"

I think Haseo calls him Tri-Edge as to refer to his weapon... as seen in that scene shot translated to:

Koitsu Ga ... Torai-ejji?
This guy ... Tri-Edge?

Where is the statue during .hack//SIGN?

Why was there no reflection?

also... where is the alter in the middle of the church during Haseo's fight?

That church seems to be full of strangness...

Its because she wasn't born yet in sign. And of coarse Tri-Edge isnt' kite XD because Kite and Orca are suppose to come back. And im still sticking to my theory that Tri-Edge is the thing being born in that dungeon. mmm... now that I think of it it could have been Kites old braclet since we never knew what happened to it But i dought it. Still born in the dungeon is my guess. >.>

Well if you watch the end credits of vol 4, you see that all the bits and pieces of Kite's Bracelet [The one they broke during the final Cubia fight] are going back together and forming into a light which goes inside a book.

You could say they don't tell use that's Kite's old Bracelet... you could say the book isn't the same Aura gives Kite since it's not flat out said.. but they don't just show scenes for no reason therefor Kite didn't get a new Bracelet, he got his old one but put back together into a new Book which was titled.. Book of Twilight ~ Dawn... or something

To this point in .hack, there are only 3 types of Bracelets:

Kite's: Installed into his character from the Book of Twilight, then again in the new Book.

Shugo's: Given directly to him without an installing item.

Twilight Guardian's: The creations of Maha which hold inside a Bracelet just like Kite's with the same level of power basically, thus able to Data Drain.

I know what happened, Kite crossed over into the Kingdom Hearts world and went to Halloween Town, thus his make over... lol ... sorry.. I'm bored and tired. Off to bed for me.

I found a site that has different screen shots then the main sites, well interesting ones... and one has text which I can't read since it's too small. I wonder what this page is talking about, I shall try and translate it tomorrow... or I could be lazy and put it into Jim Breen's site..

Interesting screens... I know a little Japanese, so I can pick out words here and there. Good luck in translating it.

Anyway, I have to say I agree upon the Haseo/Sora theory, though for different reasons I will not go into right now. My theory takes to a different branch of possibilities.

By the way, are you really the Kima Productions from GameFAQs? Eh, what's the point in asking, you probably won't remember me... I left GameFAQs long ago... Too much childish bickering...
