He never says it openly, but discusses it briefly with Krim who figures it out.
The book he wrote (which also has his real name written on the cover, Ryo Sakuma) is shown in one of those black and white scenes showing the real world.
In other words, he's a novelist/book writer.
Other people have tried completing the Epitaph, and it won't matter, since yea, it's fanfic. I believe the outcome of the Twilight Incident and onwards was supposed to be Harold's way of finishing the Epitaph.

Harold? X3 Wasn't it his wife that did it? ;P
Yeah, but his wife DIED.
Yeah, but that doesn't mean he should take over. If you meant that what happens with the rest of these Twilight Incidents is what he thinks would be the rest of it, then that sounds right, because that's what Emma was basing it off of in the first place (Though they all happened after her death).

Harold did not have a wife. Emma was just someone that he loved but she thought of him as a friend. So even if he completed it, it would be a fanfic. The only way the Epitaph of the Twilight can be complete is if Emma finishes it, which she can't because she's dead.
Ooh, I forgot she wasn't his wife, the love part threw me off. :B
I never said Harold's way of finishing it would be canon. It's fanficion like every other ending to the Epitaph. Harold just took it out of proportion and kinda ruined the "fiction" part.

Harald was never married to Emma...Harald loved Emma but Emma didn't love him back...but Harald didn't know it -_- quite strange if you ask me...
Does anyone remember what the name of the poem or book it was he loved that he used a line from the book as his spell to use to keep his courage up and I'm not talking about his phone number.
I believe the line was something along the lines of "Nashan, if you want to know the truth, you must first have the courage to accept it", from Ryo Sakuma (Bear)'s book, Annwyn.
