Translation Please?

I need help translating Azure Kite's message when I gave him a "Leader" greeting card. He replied:

"...I re#S%se"

Help?

Translation: "...I refuse."

A little off-topic, but I find it quite weird that we have both avatars and signatures of Revy. XD

Now that i think about it, i never really sent lots of greeting cards to the Azure Knights. I sent the Leader one to Orca, and though i don't remember what he said, all i remember is that it was something fun...and hard to translate 'XD

The number of characters don't match "I refuse". There's one letter too many.

But do the characters have to always match the number of letters in the actual word? I've sometimes see it happening, "corrupted" words that have more or less characters than the attempted word.
Also, i don't think there's any word out there that would be a better translation using all 7 characters D:

If memory serves, I was pretty sure that the number of characters always matched the number letters of the word intended in those e-mails.

I think I read a translation for this one a while back, though. I think it was something like "I release"? I know it makes no sense, but it's what I remember.
