E3 Watch: //Link PSP (June 2nd-5th)
E3 Watch: //Link PSP (June 2nd-5th)
Well I'm not really expecting any Link news out of CC2 or Namco Bandai at E3, but who knows - 4th year anniversary of G.U.'s announcement! Stay tuned to this thread (post anything you find interesting during E3 madness too if you want!)
Re: E3 Watch: //Link PSP (June 2nd-5th)
The E3 actually overlaps (international dateline style) with CC2's Independent Developers' Conference on the 6th, so I think they're giving a giant middle finger to the convention this year. Maybe we'll see something at TGS, where .hack was originally unleashed...

I certainly hope we hear more about .hack//LINK soon (and get another frickin' trailer, for goodness' sakes). I'm actually getting excited for the game, curse you CC2!!
Also, I would like to know how much the PSP Go is even going to cost. :/

Presumably less than the normal PSP, otherwise they seriously messed up and it has no target audience...

Microsoft Announces Project Natel
.hack needs to come to the 360 now... epic announcements, especially Natel.

Isn't that just a PlayStation Eye, or maybe two of them? That seemed like a great idea when it was first demoed too, but, aside from Eye of Judgment, very little has come of it. The Wii's motion control has the benefit of being integrated with the system itself. That will attract a lot more third party software than a peripheral, which inherently has a lower install base. I think that's the Achilles' heel of this sort of product. It certainly seems interesting, I'm just trying to point out that everything seems better at E3.
Edit: I think proof that this is nothing but a PlayStation Eye has just been given. Within 24 hours Sony was able to cook up essentially the same demos. I still predict gaming as usual.

I heard that because of swine flu, many Japanese companies aren't sending a lot of people to E3.
But this may mean that they will just put more info on the web right away.
