Haseo's best Broadsword skill.

Post by GyppyGirl2021 »

Now that we've debated Heavenly Wheel vs Reaper's Dance, I wanna know something else... which is Haseo's best Broadsword skill?

Armor Break is WAY too freakin' slow for Beast Awakening, and I think I've had the most overall luck with Tiger Strike. I just want to see the overall opinion. >.>

Sadly, my Skill Trigger setup usually has all four of Haseo's level 3 arts, pretty much for flashiness. But I've found that some skills certainly are better than others... I think for the dual guns it's better to just stick with Double Trigger for instant swappage. Justice doesn't deal that much damage. >.>

Not just Armor break, all of the Lv3 Arts are very slow during Beast Awakening as they get no speed bonus, so before they're done, you could've already used 3 lv1 or 2 arts.
The best Broadsword skill would be also Tiger Strike in my opinion, as it's fast, somewhat powerful, and leads to insane juggling strategies (at least before Xth Form since the pause waiting for Double Trigger is more than enough for the victim to fall and stand slowly). Shell Breaker is also very powerful but it can be very slow outside of Beast Awakening (in comparison to Chaotic Strike and Heavenly Wheel, at least), though it's still a very nice skill that can be used in several battles, especially against "Broadsword Weak" enemies. The rest of the skills are only good for when you're starting with the game, or just wanna be creative by using different skills other than just the most powerful and effective ones.

And my Skill Trigger was also pretty much of Armor Break, Ghost Falcon, Reaper's Dance, and Justice, because of me thinking having the latest skills at the max level and with them being so flashy at all it was awesome and the strongest thing you could have. Then i learned how to play the game actually good XD

Normally it just does the damage of 9 bullets total. You could shoot more than that before Justice even gets to the fourth slash. Really, it's an FF7 summon-length Art that does pathetic damage in comparison to the usual output of its weapon at point-blank (it's hypothetically superb in damage otherwise); I'd rather have used the lost non-Lv.3 Art in that one pre-release video myself, since that at least would have been sped up by Beast. Of course, if it turned out anything like Dust Bullet and missed several shots as a result of the speed boost, I'd be right back where I started.

That said, I do still use Justice occasionally, just NEVER on the Skill Trigger. If my allies can still move during Justice, then I find it useful as a stunning attack versus Protect All-carrying enemies. It's like how I sometimes use Natsume and Alkaid's Ghost Falcon Arts on an airborne player one at a time, starting so the next one strikes just as the first one lands her final hit.

As for this topic, I'd be surprised if Tiger Strike didn't win out.
