Highest amount of HP and SP achieved.
Okay, so after reaching level 150, what was the highest HP and SP count you reached as Haseo?
I reached 3456 HP and 560 SP.

Did I max lvl though? I think I didn't need to.

Really now? Even if I've already beaten the game? I've got older posts saying that I beat the games first, after a while they get boring.

Re: Highest amount of HP and SP achieved.
Thats why I am just waiting for my Action replay so I can cheat but for right now I have played through 5 times without any cheats so I have a lot of different hp and sp stats.
Re: Highest amount of HP and SP achieved.
Call me old fashion, but I think cheating of any kind is wrong really. Unless its for a mod like changing Haseo into another charters, something you cant actually get normally.Altre wrote:Really now? Re: Highest amount of HP and SP achieved.
Cheating, along with glitches and secret information within the coding, are what gives true life to every kind of videogame, even those who are alive enough without them. No game can be called a real game without them, and no game will ever be completed unless someone has found out every glitch and explored every code that it can be used on it. ZED gives us a great example of that, but he exists somewhere far above us mortals.
Cheating is only "bad" and "useless", at least for me, when it's for stuff like "OMFG OVAN KILLEDED ME!!! O wellz i'll just make all my characters all buffed up and get every item and win :D"....or when people get their HP and SP to the maximum amount and then post to claim to have gotten the highest amount, especially when it's such a game where you'll hardly run out of either while at 3000/900 >3>'

Re: Highest amount of HP and SP achieved.
I liked the first part of that.
When I beat a game, I get curious.
I wonder, "What's behind that secret door that your not supposed to be able to open?"
That's where cheats come in.
It's less of cheating, because there's no competition either way, so there's no one to "cheat" against. It's straight up hacking for my enjoyment.
Have you explored every little neat aspect of Mac Anu with a code allowing you to walk through walls? I have.
It's little things like that that keep a game fresh for me.
The max HP and SP thing comes in handy when I want to explore but have nagging little monsters that I'd have no use in fighting anyways on my ass. Why fight when I've lvl capped without cheats? It's a convenience. You could compare it to a person who'd rather take a car to work than ride a bike. Sure, riding the bike is good exercise, but if you have business to conduct, you can't risk the time. Of course, the cheats even get old. They even have drawbacks, such as crashing the game or worse, the memory card. But if your willing to risk death in unnecessary confrontation (which is possible, even at max lvl in the first four games and in G.U. with amazing equiptment), I'm willing to risk the game crashing for something I find enjoyable.
And I didn't use "cheats" until the 3rd of the originals.

Re: Highest amount of HP and SP achieved.
150
attack 999
9999/9999
No cheats... just lots...and lots............and lots... of virus cores traded to Melogrunty...
Though I do frequently cheat so I can play with Shino/Tabby/Natsume/and whomever else...
Soon I'll add Governor Tadashi, Kitty Ladel, and Mile to my party... now that I found this awesome site and its awesome codes.
Interesting note about levels vs. stats... even with all stats at maximum cap, enemies of a level a certain amount higher will always deal 9999 damage. I learned this while leveling Tabby the first time... I kept raising her stats to try to keep her alive... but in the end she was uber and still died every battle...

Re: Highest amount of HP and SP achieved.
Level is the most important factor for damage in the games. I haven't exactly tested it deeply, but with the very same amount of ATK and DEF, a character can deal around 80 damage with one attack and then 20 damage 10 levels lower, and receive around 300 damage while only receiving 30 at an equal level. The only difference of stats at heavily low/high levels is pretty much a difference between dealing 3 and 5 damage, or receiving 7500 or 8000 damage....which can still matter for awakenings and counters and maybe other things but completely insignificant in an average battle.Interesting note about levels vs. stats... even with all stats at maximum cap, enemies of a level a certain amount higher will always deal 9999 damage. And wasn't Wise Grunty the one you traded the virus cores with? o-O
Re: Highest amount of HP and SP achieved.
Eh? was it? I haven't run through netslum lately... I've just been going to random 150 leveled fields... I remembered it being Melo, but it could very well have been Wise...
EDIT: Needless to say, I'm not ever doing that whole max stat thing again legitimately...
