Resurrecting this thread. Our panel hasn't been approved yet, but they have announced that m.o.v.e is going to be there, which is totally awesome. It's kinda rare for ACen to get a band I like...

Exactly! That's the point of Acen! Everything else is too coast-centric... Like I said before, at least it's half the distance from East Coast City as it would be if it were in West Coast CIty, and vice versa. Overall everyone's closer, so no bitching. Or something...

Hello, I've been following dothackers main page for some time now, and the Acen post finally prompted me to join the forum. I live about twenty minutes from where Acen is being held and I'm working a booth in artist alley with my sister. It'll be awesome to go to a .hack panel. The last couple years have been sad for the ,hack fan base there. u_u;

Even though I'm brand new, you can count me in.

Awesome! Hopefully Acen will have their full panel schedule out soon - I'll post the day/time/location on the front page when it's available. I'm hoping for some .hack cosplayers to come to the panel - the last time I was at Acen (4 years ago...) some of the costumes were amazing!

I'm a longtime Acen goer (I've only missed it twice since 2002: Once when I was living in Japan and once when they held it during finals like this one), and the lack of a .hack event is exactly why I suggested this. You see a lot of scattered .hack fans and cosplayers, it'll be great to get them together.

Yeah, it'll be awesome. I've also been going to Acen for a few years now so I get exactly what you mean by the 'scattered' fan base. Once the panel schedule is up I'll be marking this for sure.
