Arena Teams
I'm not sure if there's already a post about this, but who was your arena team, and what made them so awesome. Mine was Haseo (of course), Atoli, and Shino. I could easily crush the opponents while getting the double healing effect. It made it almost too easy

Re: Arena Teams
"Too easy"? The arena is SO DARN EASY unless you go fight teams like Eddie's or The Sweepstakers at lv110, and even so they get quite simple when you know how XD
Anyways, my most used team is Haseo and his Scythe. Then i either use Other Self and Shadow when i wanna be immortal, or World Mirror and Super Charge/Skill Boost when i wanna be deadly and unstoppable. My best team of consists on any combination of Zelkova, Endrance, Bo and Natsume, and can be just one or two of them. When it comes to low level i mostly use Endrance and Zelkova, however, in those cases i prefer to beat them solo...both for a better challenge, and because sometimes, when one of my team members get caught in a skill, i can be caught in the damage area and die in one hit without even seeing how because the camera doesn't allow me to see in that angle XP

Yeah you're right about how easy the arena is. It would've been cool for a bonus feature to offer multiplayer at least in the arena to test ur skillz against other teams.

Re: Arena Teams
At least the "Survival Conditions", "Custom" and "Friend" battle would've been awesome to have...they kinda "promised" it in GU since you could see text data about them in the game's file; the Survival Conditions was a Survival but with conditions in order to win the battle, sounds like stuff like "Defeating the enemy with a Skill", "Not using Awakenings" or stuff like that...Custom Battle was the same except it was a Limit Battle and you could set the conditions to win and all. And Friend Battle was a Custom Battle where you could choose your enemies from your Friend List, being able to fight against your own team members with whatever equipment you gave them. It looks like only the text was made though....there's no data about the actual challenges being made, and that sucks alot because it wasted ALL the potential the Arena could've had XPtwilight_keeper wrote:Yeah you're right about how easy the arena is. I've always had my thoughts on how the Arena would've been amazing, including these challenges that they took, and tournaments/leagues where you could also fight teams including characters like Gabi or your own team members (that you didn't register in your team, and maybe mixed with fitting NPCs, such like a team of Endrance, Sakubo and Syake).....however, i know that'll never happen until i know how to hack GU that way, and when that happens the PS2 will be considered as old as the SNES is considered right now D:

Re: Arena Teams
Pretty much. The idea that the arena could've been coded in that way and they dropped it could be because they ran out of space. At least I'd like to think that over that they were just lazy x_X

Re: Arena Teams
It would have been great to fight your party members or those custom ones but if they added in a tournament where they had actual rank spots where you beat the other team and went on to fight another person who won there match sort of like when you become emperor.
