well now! NK's back... and he's been doing COLORED ARTS... WITHOUT USING A COMPUTER =O!!





just don't expect any photoshop arts from meh.... I hasn't got photoshop =/...

What utensils do you use to draw (normal pencil, charcoal, ect.)?

I use anything and everything :U. sometimes I use pastels, sometimes I use Ink, paint, even photoshop (very rarely. I canno do lineart TT)... but mostly just pencils and fine-liners/Biros :U

The "no mouth" thing does scare me, but I know it's not a mistake. Unless you drew it and forgot the mouth... (raises eyebrow)

I'm not good with drawing mouths and noses on the same face... it's something I need to work on ¬_¬'

Oh, good luck with that. Usually, depending on the direction the figure is facing, mouths on my pics go more to the right if facing left, and the opposite for facing right. Up and down pisses me off though (which is why I don't draw as much), but forward facing is my easiest. I wish I could connect the scanner to this comp, I'd post some of mine.

I have exactly the same problems with my scanner... which is why I use my grandma's :U

You can practice by only drawing the heads, make different expressions on your characters (happy, sad, angry, shocked, etc...) you can make them a little bigger than your usual size so you can work on details. It really doesn't have to be complicated and have too much lines, as long as it shows the emotion you wanted is all that matters.

I've been doing this since I was 8, so... yeah :/... It's time consuming and take a LOT of practice.
