Here are alot of drawings I have drawn LOL! =D I dont know why many are so dang small after I scanned them, but ah well... LOL! (BTW; My dream is to be a Manga Artist) Many of these are characatures so they are supposed to be un porportionate! (Some also had my real name so I had to take them off)

Wow, pretty solid pics. As you said, many are supposed to be un-proportionate, but for the more serious ones, pay attention to neck and shoulder size. Think of what the persons age is and what features they should have (or not if they age differently)affiliated with their age. Also, check body size in general. I used to make disproportionate figures all the time until I realized how horrid they looked. Now, it takes forever to get it for me, but I keep going until I like it, or until the paper becomes too brittle from erasing so much and I ave to throw it away.

They still look great though.
