Chaos Gate Theory

Post by bat7981 »

So looking through the FAQ I was wanting more information on the Chaos Gate Theory. I'm slightly curious if anyone has been to all 22,736 different keywords in Infection. I was also wondering if there was a comprehensive list as to which fields are which. And then the last easy part is what is the exact break down of keywords and what they do to a field i.e. Bursting details Dungeon, Structures, and Area Level therefore they should be the same in all Bursting keyword levels but which type is it Castle, Living, Stone, etc. (can't think of fourth one).

You would have to have a lot of extra time on your hands if you were to go to all those levels. I don't think anyone in their right mind, or someone who wants to stay sane of course, that would even attempt to do that.

THe only practical way you could visit every field would be by making a program and hacking it into the game to go to each field automatically and leave the PS2 on for a few weeks while it runs.

Actually, one person on record has accomplished that. He lives alone in Osaka, Japan. I believe he's in the 2008 volume of the Guisness Book of World Records because I remember him setting that record. It took him approx. 7 Months, 24 days, 14 hours, 22 mins., and 44 secs. Yes, I believe he is the master of Endurance here.

It's either the 2007 or 2008 version of the Guisness Book of world records book. I'm not quite sure seeing as how I read the book eight months ago, but I'm pretty sure it's in the video games/electronics section in one of these two volumes.

I didn't find any information about it however, that doesn't disprove it. I wonder if there is a reset number for fields to start repeating themselves in between the 22,736 areas. Also, if servers are counted in the number since they affect the result as well.

Wow, so there is a chance that some dude actually visited 22,736 areas, wtf? Where in the HELL does someone find that kind of time, seriously!? I don't think thats physically possible, but who am I to say that? HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP! is the best phrase to describe it... I don't know whether to be impressed, or deeply, deeply, disturbed...

Possibly. However, if you do live by yourself, with a PS2 and a .hack// game, well.......It's not impossible to achieve such a goal.

True, and if boredom sets in, that can happen.
