I played the violin, since I'm also a fan of classical (yes this hip hop sweetie likes classical!). I'm planning to go back.

Trust me, the violin is very good instrument to play. Just remember to practice!

do guys(especially u who play guitar) prefer to play fast songs or slow songs like freebird. me, i play really fast songs like through the fire and flames by dragonforce and crazy train by ozzy. love ozzy man.

Well, let's see...I used to play the violin, the piano, and also the flute, I wanted to learn how to play the guitar and I barely know a few chords, and one of my dreams was to learn how to play the drums but those are really expensive and really now, it's a dream more than anything. Sadly, I don't play instruments anymore, I wish I could say it's because I don't have the time but there are many different reasons.

Violin - was destroyed by my family (I'm still pissed off at this)
Piano - never had one, I used to play it at school and my aunt had one so I played it when I visited her. I did have a keyboard once but it doesn't work anymore, it's too old DX
Flute - I have no idea where did I put it >_> in any case I didn't like it that much, so...bleh
Guitar - didn't have one either, I used to borrow one from a friend.

Acoustic guitar. I SUCK at it even though i can play a few songs without much problem, just that i'm too slow and it looks like i can only coordinate my hands with videogames 'XD

um I play the piano... but not very well ^^; I can't seem to improve even though I started taking lessons at 5 ~___~;; I just don't have the passion for it since my mom forces me to play 30 minutes or so a day... and if I miss a day I play an hour the next...... and I miss that day... one hour and 30 minutes etc. etc. -sigh- I do enjoy playing anime themes though XD;

from the sound of things, it sounds like most of u play classical instruments. u no wat we should all do...get together and form our own band! we could be called something like...the dothackers or the terrors of death...idk. maybe u guys can come up with a better name.lol.

i played the piano for a while.. then i went into drumming, and my friend played a bass ^^'.. on vocals was his gf, and that was a band i was in =]. drums, bass, and vocals, and of course i also synthesized aswell =P.. i'm not sure if my memory's fuzzy but i think we called ourselves something like electric shiver ~_~....

Actually I remember I used to play the melodies from a few videogames and series on the paino or the violin when I wasn't playing those boring exercises they gave me at school XP
