Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2

Post by haseoxth »

Just finished watching episode 1, and I must say its got me hooked back in to one of my top animes. That and Kallen in a bunny girl outfit was epic.

Its not epic, its just fanservice. Lelouch geassing all the murderous ****ers to blow each others brains out? THAT is epic.

My least favorite moment? Suzaku is STILL alive. Heck not only that, he is one of the Knights of Twelve. So he gets a nice fat promotion while his own country goes to hell. **** him, **** his moral absolutes and **** his hypocrisy.

On another note I can't wait to see Anya's Mordred and its FOUR Hadron Canons.

Also maybe Table-kun.

Saw the first episode recently as well. It was pretty good, the only thing that ruined it for me was more freakin' Kallen fanservice, and Suzaku is still alive, wtf.
PizzaC.C. makes up for it though, a little at least. <3

First episode was amazing in most aspects imo. Good pacing, nice setup for the story, great OP (I was the most worried about the OP prior to seeing the episode xP) and they even found themselves a neat excuse to pull the "Lelouch vi Britannia orders you to die!" yet again (which, although lame due to being a refurbish from the first episode of the first series, is just as epic as it was back then).

I don't really like bunny-costumes (can't complain about fanservice though) and I lol at their camera-angles when showing Kallen in her suit.
I can't help but dislike Rollo because of the role he has though.

Did I mention the op is epic?
It's epic.
I already said it's epic, didn't I?
It's still epic.
Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Eh I like Kallen as a character, her fanservice is just gravy for me.

Just wondering though, how many people do hate Suzaku? I keep hearing he has SOME fanbase but everywhere I look its all Suzaku hate. Including me :P

All she needs now is her Cheese-kun.

I liked Suzaku before he turned into a douchebag. He has completely lost all of his purpose, which is why im guessing that he really hasnt and he's going to sacrifice himself probally for Nanally or something retarded -_-

Suzaku was alright when he was getting PWNd by Author the cat. But he turned into a prick as soon as he got into Lancelot. Scratch that, as soon as he got into the suit.

And I'm a Kallen fanboy, so the bunny girl outfit was a little epic for me. Kinda like Bulma fanboys during 10 episodes of DB.

I find it funny now that TOotBK is now following a Britannian High school student. And am interested in know why Ougi didn't know Zero was "dead".

They always have, haven't they? ;D
haseoxth wrote:And am interested in know why Ougi didn't know Zero was "dead".
Ten bucks says he knew he was dead, but hearing it said straight to him once more gave him kind of a "Yes, it really is true >.<"-moment. No way he wouldn't know Zero is thought to be dead. He's probably just wishing it's not true, hence his reaction.
Regardless, that'll all be lost in history in three or four episodes when they're all out and about, kicking britannian ass.

You guys might want to check out the Code Geass: Lost Colors dating sim, available for the PSP and PS2, seen here
http://www.ncsx.com/2008/033108/code_geass_ps2.htm

Some pics from the game: http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/5342 ... 647jh6.jpg

Strangely enough, the games protagonist(It's not Lelouch) has a disturbing resemblance to Haseo. Is the whole white spiky hair thing a chick magnet now?

While its most likely non-canon its should be noted the Rollo Lamperouge seems capable of teleporting(or at least moving very fast ) and KILLING the protagonist when making wrong choices. Not to mention being immune to Geass. Maybe this might imply what his capable of in the anime? Suffice to say I think Rollo might be one heck of a shady character.

I didn't know they had a whole new character in Lost Colors.

Seeing as he apparently teams up with Suzu, run around in school, teams up with Lulu (yayrevolution) and may even have a geass, I suddenly got VERY interested in the game. It's a darn shame I'm not good enough at japanese to play it yet. Going to be so totally awesome when I get that far :D

Actually Lost Colors is a multiple route game so you can choose a side, BK or Britania for example. Your route changes the choice of who you can end up, including the male characters apparently :P

Also Episode 2 spoilers:

-What happened back in R:1 is revealed Lelouch takes a shot at Suzaku and he DODGES THE BULLET!!!! (WTF!? Now hes a ninja!?). Suzaku then shoots Lelouch then beats the crap out of him. Oh, then he turns Lelouch to the EVIL Emperor for a position as one of the Twelve Knights. EVIL Emperor uses a geass(!!) to mind-wipe Lelouch. Man I was hoping R2 would make me like Suzaku more but now I'm hating him more than ever before.

-Urabe dies, sacrificing himself to stop the mysterious Golden Vincent. Man that was quick.

-The BK blow up Babel Tower killing Carere. Then they work with the Chinese to broadcast to the world the Glorious return of Zero. Some of the reactions are awesome, Zero fanboy Diethard looks like he's having an orgasm. Nina the table raper looks shocked.

-Oh and Rolo is revealed to be the pilot of the Golden Vincent. He also has a geass. Man I knew he was shady but I didn't think they would reveal that so early in the series

-Also there are quite a decent amount of LelouchxKallen scenes that would make the fans of this pairing cheer.

I was really happy when it finally came out after all this waiting....
Im just wondering what's going to be epic in this season.

Im a bit confused about Rolo how how hes fitting in to the show. From the trailers Rolo was looking like a new bad guy to the series.
Yay to Pizza Hut for starting the rebellion =3

Just watched Episode 2.

First off: Kallen is a Zero fangirl.

Second: Man was there too much epicness packed into 22 minutes or what? And Suzaku, WHY THE HELL DIDN"T HE DIE?! And how the hell dodges bullets? Is he Neo? And everybody knew Rolo was piloting the Vincent, but having Geass was something different all together. And the Emperor? Yea, if you look in the OP, he can see him with Geass in both eyes.

And finally, Suzaku is a dick. That is all.

The only thing I have to say is what's up with all the Geass?

So many new people with Geass showing up...How many more people have one?

If thier aiming at making people get the concept to know that Code Geass is about Geass thier proving there point...

I'm just hoping this does not have a too similar plot-esque sort of thing to Death Note. After the first two episdoes from series one, I started thinking about that. Death Notes ending ticked me off, and my spidey-sense says they're gonna pull some BS with that idiot who shouldnt be alive. ( Suzaku )

lol I agree with you about Suzaku. Suzaku has went from one of the most popular characters on the show to the most hated.

There's always something with the characters like that which the least favorite character has to do something everyone will hate them more for.One thing is for sure though if anything happens to Suzaku, I hope he finally dies...

Suzaku should have taken Euphie's place. She was a nice girl. There better be a power failure with the Lancelot and it blows up with Suzaku inside.

Huh? They've only revealed TWO more people with Geass.

People with Geass:
1. Lelouch
2. Rolo
3. EVIL emperor (His name is Charles BTW, but its to silly to call him that XD)
4. Mao
5. Nunnaly (Nightmare of Nunnaly manga)
6. Two guys from the DS game (Can't remember their names)
7. Rai (Lost Colors)

So thats eight Geass users, one is dead and four of them are non-canon. Thats hardly alot.

As for Suzaku, I hate him because he is incredibly stupid. His "change from the inside" plan has had a progression rate of 0%. An awesome plan that apparently entails being a complete lapdog and following orders. He has done absolutely NOTHING to help his country. What's worse he has kept a blind eye on all the civilian massacres that he HELPED accomplish. I cannot fathom how he sleeps at night. He shouldn't be able to.
