Useless?
alot of People say LOTTB is a useless part of .hack but i disagree. if your new to .hack and you watch that it really gives you the feeling of what .hack is about. with SIGN you kind of needed to know whats going on and stuff. but with LOTTB you could watch the 9th ep and enjoy it with out seeing anyothers and go "ohh so this is dot hack" but i could do without all the wiredness between shugo and rena.

//LOTTB is more of a fun part of .hack for everybody to enjoy...it doesn't talk too much about the history of The World...the manga is pretty much about Aura's development if you ask me...the anime I'd have to say is about how The World is fun (I really don't know

I can agree a little bit but...
The cartoonish look and feel of the anime made it feel like I was watching Looney Toons. But I agree about the how .Hack//Legend of the Twilight explained what was going on.
