If you remember, the Question was asking for the director of the Movie: The Apartment, not Roman Holiday, Which Tsukasa Mimicks.

SO I bought Those two movies just to see how good they were, and i must say Billy Wilder was a genious! Anyways, i keep falling asleep during roman holiday, but The Apartment is Superb!

Furthermore, Shirley Maclaine's Character, Fran Kubelik, doesnt even have a husband. She's an elevator girl who lives with her sister and brother in law, a tough guy cabbie.
