Ovan help (spoiler technically I guess)

Post by Lycoris.cyl »

Okay so I'm fighting Ovan and I need some advice-- what is a good level to be during that fight because I can't seem to kill him. Also, any tips for quickly eliminating those Restore Spheres other than awakening? I eliminate the first group of three with awakening and then there is another and by the time I kill them Ovan is completly restored :(

Also also, what are those cheat code things for?

The cheat codes are used in "cheat alchemy" in which during your ventures in the netslum tartarga, zelkova modifies your @home's alchemy system in which you can use those cheat codes to power up weapons and such with a lvl 5 rarity.

i beat ovan at lvl 120

as for those Restore Spheres i killed it using 2-3 skill triggers (Ghost Falcon) and use the beast awaking for ovan and he eventually die .

anyway my party was all at lvl 120. plus kuhn and Endrance have there lost weapon at lvl 4 as for my Hp/Mp when it get low i use the Chicha Potion item.(I got 30+ of them when I fight ovan)

then on the avatar battle kinda its easy after you get your rhythm just evade every thing that ovan throws at you then when he use Mental Vampirism send it back he will be stun and attack him. i repeat this method. i think 4 or 5 times shall do. (I got the mental vampirism right after 4 retry)

I beated him at 122 with Atoli and Kuhn. Just use a lot of skills and destroy his black balls first, then him.

I beat him at Level 129. Seriously, if you just take an hour and a half to level up that high in random fields, it'll help- it was ridiculously easy to beat him; I practically slaughtered him at that level, I didn't even have to worry about reviving or healing anyone myself, I just left that to Atoli. The Heal Thy Neighbor AIDA didn't even pose much of a threat. As for the Avatar battle... Um, I thought it was a bit harder than the battle at the end of Volume 2 (which was surprisingly easy), but I've had some people tell me it was easier. Don't even bother trying to stun him, just hit back Mental Vampirism at the right time and it'll stun him for you, that way you can just focus on evading.

I beat him lvl 135 alone... I always fight those battles alone whenever possible... Proves more of a challenge...

I'd say everyone should be like this:

Haseo: lvl 125
Atoli: lvl 124
Endrance: lvl 120

That should work just use beast awakening. During that Twin Blades help if lucky he goes down about 2000hp! Thats how I won. Oh and when the awakening ends use the scythe it works cause its long range and hits almost all the enimes.

Block when it's necessary weapon affinity helps out alot in this battle. Use skill trigger to attack two sphere though the damage is different for both DPS. Have lot of healing items... ><

I beat him at level 121 with Atoli and Endrance. It was a nice challenge at that level, but I almost didn't make it. I found that using Ghost Falcon was a good way to get rid of his Spheres. Then after that I'd use a beast awakening to hammer on him. It honestly took me 45 minutes to an hour to win, but it felt really god to win at that level. I ended out beating the game at 128.

128. @_@ Wow. I beat it at 135 and I still think I should've levelled a bit, though I'm not sure how much good it would've done. The final boss was easy as hell but Cubia's second form made me want to scream.

Really? I thought Cubia was the easiest battle of the game. At least the core was. The battle to get in was annoying. I did enjoy the battles on the way to the core once you got inside, it was fun.

Yeah, the core was ungodly easy and I liked the doppel battles. It was just the avatar battle that made me want to slit my wrists and throw my controller.

It took me 5 or 6 times to beat Cubia's second avatar form. I wanted to kill something so fricking badly... The first time I fought it, I got Cubia down to half health and then after that I inflicted barely any damage because those darn gomorras wouldn't go away >_____< I hadn't even gotten to the part that they tell you to watch out for by my 4th time trying (you know, how when you die it gives you a hint on how to win). My 4th or 5th try I almost won, and then on my final try I finally made it. My gosh I am glad that you had to face the avatar form first, I wouldn't have survived if the core was first, I would've stopped playing I think >____<

Aaaanyways... if you level up to 129 to beat Ovan, you seriously don't need to go out and level up for the rest of the game. I beat him at lvl. 129 and then by the end of the game I was 131 because of the other dungeons I had to go through that were part of the story.

Cubia Core was Easy I had to solo cause my team was crap. So I used scythe to hit alot of enemies at once. Used Duel Guns when needed.
