FoP question (possible spoilers)

Just curious. Once you've finished the Forest of Pain (i.e. defeated the boss on floor 100), are you able to enter the FoP again for subsequent runs, "just for fun," etc? Or is it more like an event where once you finish FoP one time, it's inaccessible after that. I only ask because once I have all the best items and weapons in the game (including the ones from FoP), it'd sure be nice to have places other than normal areas to try them out.

You can return to the forest at any time and redo all the mini-missions if you want. Bosses will not respawn, this includes all the 5th-floor bosses. Once the barrier goes down, it's down permanently.

Does that mean you can keep doing certian Floors and gain as many of those *5 star rare items as you want? If so... might be fun to give my party members each of those infinate HP/SP items so they can also heal like that, although not sure if they'd use them.

the unlimited healing item is only one because they are boss items

Pure Medallion for killing Cerrenous Shadow and Fairy Queen Orb which reveals the whole map...good for lazy people like me who does not like to explore the dungeon of FoP...i can't remember which mission to get it though

Pure Medallion is from Darklords Shade on block 30. Fairy Queen Orb is from the mission on block 36 to 39. Everything else, from 1 to 50 anyway, is all healing items. Wrote down everything as I went through but don't know what's beyond 50 yet since I haven't done it.

I hope this is the right place to post, I have a question of FoP as well. Do you have to kill every monster on each floor, or can you skip battles to progress? And, do you also get a bonus for killing every monster, or not? Thank you.

yes, but you dont get the bonus for kiling parties of monsters

Oh I tried, but I was able to skip battles to get to the next block, so I guess you don't have to. :\ I just wondered, cuz I didn't want to miss any bonuses, but since there isn't I just skipped battles and it worked. So thank you for your help.

in the FoP, is the 'phase' and the 'mission' different or is it the same? and seriously there are 100 stages?! i take about 10 minute for each block *or 2* TT^TT

and is the last last boss as powerful as the one in the second volume or is it more powerfull?

The phase bonus for block 51 to 54 is:
Healing Tonic x15
DG-Y x1
Body Butterfly x1
Confusion Leaf x1

Conditions:
Perform 18 Skill Triggers.
Defeat 6 enemy parties.
Clear while being KO'd 3 time(s) or less.
Perform Awakening 4 times.

So, yeah, have to do the regular battles. 4 rewards and 4 conditions, don't know if it's a one to one thing or not. I may test it later but probably best to do it all. Still not that hard. Since DG-Y is a from a phase bonus I wonder if you can get more than one.

That's alot of conditions! I have only just finished the first 10 floors. so there hasn't been much yet. I'm assuming that once you have all those met in the floors 51-54, you can probably skip the rest, but yeah I guess you'll have to fight most levels. I just don't want to overlevel or anything. That's why I want to limit how much I fight. Thx, for the info.

You're welcome. Yeah, gets complicated after 50. Nothing before 50 requires you to beat anything, though. Except bosses, obviously. Anyways, I answered my own questions too. It is a one to one thing and you can get more than one DG-Y. Did it a second time and did the first three conditions but not the fourth and got the first three rewards. So, if all you want is the DG-Y you only need to defeat 6 enemy parties on 51-54, or so it seems atleast.

I'm disappointed with the DG-Y myself, if nothing else it's pretty ugly. IMHO. By the way, anyone know the name of the boss on 55? I forgot to write it down.

It's not really hard to build up your morale once you have the infinite use item that heals party hp by 350. Simply don't do anything but that....it will build up your morale very fast.

If im low on hp and sp i simply use Smoke bomb(skome screen ulti times) and use pure meditation and Icon and go back in
