During Vol. 1, Atoli asked Haseo about the meaning behind his name. He avoided the question, almost embarrassed looking.

What do you think the name 'Haseo' means? I have no idea, but I'm hoping it has some deep meaning that's going to be explained in Vol. 3...

IMO he avoided the question because he has that cultured side of him that he didnt want Atoli to see (and think he's soft)

Bah, I messed up. It wasn't a poem, I was thinking of cultural reference in Silent Hill. (I go to a forum for it right before coming here.)

Matsuo Bashou had "Haseo" as a pseudonym, and he had a student named Sora Kawai.
