Tri-edge and the Lost Grounds

Post by Keyaki »

Iv been wondering this for a while now. Everytime Ovan goes to a Lost Ground he loses control of  AIDA < Tri-Edge>, but my question is... why?
Why is it that everytime Ovan goes to a Lost Ground he loses control of AIDA<Tri-edge>?

I suggest you put spoilers in your post for people who haven't beat the game(if there are people out there even O.o; )

Anyhow, he had marked several areas actually. I recall him hacking away at a few Beast Temples as well.

The explanation for it; unknown really.

Personally I believe he tends to go to those areas simply because they are 'Lost Grounds' and outside the system itself. You have to remember what He's searching for, The Key of the Twilight, and Lost Grounds being outside of the system and etc would have to been his first plan actually.

It could also be assumed that some areas people fell in coma's, such as Shino, but that might not be true.

He also uses them to teleport around it seems, so perhaps he had used some for simply escaping from battle. in /ROOTS he did beat Kite and left an SIGN, so it could be assumed it's all the areas Kite stalked him with.

How did you know he lost control on every Lost Ground? Because If I remember correctly he didn't lose control when he meet up with Haseo( Vol 1 movie) on The Arche Koeln Waterfall...

Because he spends all of his time in Lost Grounds. It doesn't have any fact on his AIDA control.

It's like the fact that most accidents happen in the home. Well DUH, of course. You spend more time at home than anywhere else.

I don't really think he lost control until  you defeat him. At least thats what it seems like. He seems preatty in control when  he kills you Pi, and Atoli. Thats All I have to say

He always had the same amount of control.
Cases in point:Killing Shino, and the various times he even falls unconcious for a short amount of time because of it.
In fact, when he revealed it in Vol 2,he only did so because <Tri Edge> was acting up in the first place.
However,he can control it,to some point, but he can't do anything like...make it chop it's own limb off.
It can act on it's own,and even force Ovan to act,but at the same time is a typical AIDA,and likes to watch and learn from Ovan's actions and responses.
