He whooped me!! Bad!! Like 30 sec into the fight. How do you survive that one hit kill move?

You need to destroy the leaves he drops. If they're all still there, it's an auto-kill move.

just tell blackrose to attack hi main body,mistral or whoever heal, while kite takes care of the leaves. he shuld be able to destroy them in 2-3 slashes.

However the fight might take awhile because she might attack his leaves instead. So hopefully you stocked up on healing items.
