Did Clover Studios really dissolve?
I've been wandering about this for awhile and I haven't really found any information except an issue of PSM giving details about a web-site. Does anyone have any information on if they dissolved or if they are working on making anymore games.

I dunno if they are gone or not but I have heard 'God Hand' was their last game

Thanks, It would suck if they did dissolve if they could continue making games that used the same formula like Okami and Vietiful Joe. I guess making games is very pricey nowadays.Vahn Staffear wrote:I dunno if they are gone or not but I have heard 'God Hand' was their last game

Agreed. I loved Okami and Viewtiful Joe both very great and long games with great graphics. I think Clover might come out with some new games that is if Capcom lets them -___-Cless wrote:Thanks, It would suck if they did dissolve if they could continue making games that used the same formula like Okami and Vietiful Joe. Is Capcomp restricting them or something? *Confused* XD
man I'm glad that they made a couple of changes to the site after I left. I got tired of not being allowed to type really short comments. XD

Yeah Clover is another branch of Capcom...so Capcom can get rid of them if it wants toCless wrote:Is Capcomp restricting them or something? *Confused* XD

Well that sucks. Thanks for the links that gave me alot of information on the deatails I needed.

Re: Did Clover Studios really dissolve?
Well, I think they WERE dissolved, but Clover's developers are still under Capcom, and I think they have a spin-off studio--at least, that's what I remembered hearing soon after the dissolution.

Seeds is the name of the studio. Some of the members who left formed it.

^ Thanks. I knew they weren't completely gone, but I couldn't remember the new studio.

Woot is that what happened. If so then I guess they will continue making games. I was hoping they didn't dissolve because their games are very good.milliennium_fox wrote:Seeds is the name of the studio. Some of the members who left formed it.

Re: Did Clover Studios really dissolve?
Just because a group is dissolved doesn't mean that the people working for that team were fired. It basically just means that that particular group of people was disbanded and placed elsewhere.

Cool, if that's the case I can say I'm glad that they can still make games. It's better than bankruptcy. I be surprised if they continued Okami that game kind of ended like they were going to make a prequel.
